Thanks for these links, nice to see that fans supporting the traditional big teams are being respectful of what Saints are achieving at the moment! Man United fans were generally very complimentary of us recently as well.

Yep, like it with sweetcorn

This is serious stuff. First we had the terrible news that broke yesterday, of fans having to move to a different block due to the evil scheming ticket office. Now we're having players assaulting children in full view of 1000's of people. Where's it gonna end, it's no wonder society is so disillusioned with football these days.

Got any links Jimmy, ta

I'd like this post if I could, but the forum doesn't have the functionality so you'll have to make do with +1 reputations point

Old bear would like that. New bear would be thinking of a logical way to escape from the boot using only a trolly jack and some WD40, A-team style

^^ What have you done with Bearsy?

Leave off him Tokyo, I've just noticed Baz is complaining on the match build up thread for the Arsenal game as it's too far in advance to talk about our next game. I think he may be on his period. I'm off to do a hot water bottle for him to put on his tummy, don't be mean to him.

Tokyo there's already 8 options, there's no point in adding more, we don't even have that many regular contributors to muppet show area.

Thanks for your valuable contribution Barry +1 reputations point

Thanks Phil, we need pull together during times like these

As highlighted on the main board by SNSUN, former muppet show regular and price pikey Bearsy hit 6000 posts last night. You may have missed it as this event happened in the main forum FFS. Whilst the location of this milestone post is not a massive surprise for those keeping an eye on his recent decline, what's more disappointing was that the contents of the post were almost unrecognisable as being anything that would have been produced by Bearsy back when he was at his muppet peak. For those of you that haven't see it, this was the post, SNSUN calling him out on it and the quite frankly pathetic follow up post from the Bear. Post 6001 makes me think that potentially Bearsy isn't even Bearsy anymore!!!!! :mcinnes::( ^^ What a total disgrace. I hope that somewhere within this husk of a shell formerly know as Bearsy is still the same Bearsy that some of us came to tolerate and even enjoy over time. I hope he's back soon as this makes me feel sick in my stomach. Even when called out on post 6000, post 6001 is just a weak assed apology and the promcaimation of a wish to go and lie down. FFS Bearsy, I hope you had a good hard think about yourself when laying down. I'm sorry to do this Bear but I'm freezing all reputations points in your reps account for the foreseeable future. I'm holding off resetting you back to zero at the moment as I'm still hopeful we'll see you return to your best, but any further decline and I'll be forced to review the situation in a couple of weeks.

This!! Great post. Just the fact we're even having these conversations and differences of opinion on how high we'll finish instead of how low we'll finish is amazing. Just the fact we're looking at January's transfer window with the potential of what players might improve our squad coming from big teams is fantastic compared to previous seasons. They may have had smiles on their faces when saying it, but to hear the likes of Shearer on MOTD 3 talking about the 'potential' of saints winning the title rather than the dangers of relegation is awsome. I don't think there are many on here saying saints WILL win the title or WILL finish top 4, but I'm happy to be amongst the many of us daring to dream and think 'what if' we carry on at this rate, 'what if' we beat Arsenal in our next game, what if..... There have been some depressing times supporting saints in recent years, so I'm happy to take the smooth with the rough and dream a little whilst I still can.

The guy who sits behind me at work is an Arsenal fan and I always hear him taking about footie. As he lives in London I assumed he went so when I got my ticket for our away game the other day I thought I'd see where abouts he sat in the ground. Naturally it turns out he doesn't go, but as my questions had alerted him to the fact I was a saints season holder he started talking about which of our players he was hoping they'd buy when the January window opens (Shaw naturally being one of them). As for the game in a couple of weeks, it didn't even register with him when I suggested that these days Saints have a better chance of winning. He wasn't even swayed when I mentioned we'd beaten Liverpool at Anfield and drawn at old trafford recently. He only sees them ripping us apart, he was so sure that I couldn't even be bothered to try talk about it with him

Hi pap, me again. You do realise the fresh prince is a program aimed at children yeah? So comparing it with stuff being created in the uk for grown up tv like Father Ted and Blackadder is a bit of an odd comparison. Next thing you'll be dissing the realism of the muppets compared with some of the characters in star wars during the same period!! I don't think anyone is gonna try and make out the fresh prince was ever award winning and cutting edge, but to make out it was just toilet is silly as it was clearly found funny by the market it was aimed at (and is still being found funny on a daily basis decades later).

To be fair, I do dish out reputations points verbally in real life. -
So you are saying Lawro can not directly influence the results of premiership games with his predictions? Interesting, are you able to prove this?
