I hit a dear once, was going along a long straight on an A road in the early hours, saw it jump out up ahead of me, braked hard but annoyingly the stupid thing decided to run down the road instead of just going to one side out of the way. I thought I was going to get past it as it started to move out of the way, but then it moved back left at the last moment. Thankfully that meant I didn't hit it square on, but it still put a sizable dent in the side of my car. (I also learnt that my car breaks weren't that good either!) It ran off into the bushes, although it did leave some fur and blood on the car, but they are pretty tough creatures so I liked to believe it was ok.

Did a new one not recently open in Station Road, just up past Ralph Colman cycles? (or did I imagine that?)

To me, the best thing about life is laughter & humour. There is far too much stress in life generally. So how’s about discussing the things that make us laugh and smile, either on tv, or in real life! For me, on TV; 30 Rock Modern family Two & a half men Everybody hates Chris Alan Partridge The IT crowd South Park Family Guy Chris Rock All make me laugh. In real life: People who clearly look like d!cks, but think they look cool People who talk to themselves (sad as no doubt they have real issues, but I find them funny) Grumpy old people (ironic as I guess that will eventually be me) Goths (oh are we supposed to call them emos now?) ‘lads’ in novas, escorts, etc that think a big exhaust means they have a good car Girls with big hoop earrings

Is it just me who associates specific names with hotness? i.e. based on the fact that I once worked with someone called Cara who was hot, I now think Cara is a name for hotties. Please list other hot names here..........

Well said. When I think back to where we were this time last year, I blooming love saints again now. We've just had the best year I've had since being a supporter & I look forward to us pushing on next season. I'm glad we have a couple of months break as I can do other stuff on a Saturday, but am equally looking forward to business resuming in August. I paid for last years season ticket in installments, but am ok with paying the lot off in one go this time (at least it gets it out the way). I am looking forward to seeing the new shirt design. If it's the sash design I won't like it to start with, but I know it will grow on me. Will be interesting to see what players we sign (I have a sneaky feeling we are going to be very pleased come kick off of the new season) All in all, good times ahead. They say you can never please all the people all the time!!

if there are you maybe able to get one of them to give your motor a quick clean whilst you are at the ticket office. This will help you get rid of that awful loose change, whilst at the same time help another saints fan that's less fortunate than yourself
