I sometimes think about going on an insult spree so as to get some infractions so that I can wear them like a badge of honour. Being boring and not saying anything worth noting was ok to start with, but as I approach my 1000th post I think it’s time I stepped it up a gear, so that in future when I speak to strangers at away days and the conversation gets around to Saintsweb and I reveal that I am Spudgun, they might in future say “oh yes, I know the one” rather then the usual blank look I get!

I think on the picth it says 'The dell 1898 - 2001'. Originally I thought it was something someone had done for copywrite purposes, but I then decided that it was actaually on the pitch, I assume for the last ever game there? Sure someone who was there can confrim this. As for the bits at the end I have no idea, wondered that myself. To the right it sort of looks like people sat there, or like some seats have been replaced by odd colour seats.

to be fair, I think the only people that will make this into a big deal will be the police (more overtime please) and the media (more sales please). Most fans of both teams will be totally fine with the games and just have some banter. I'll be getting the train over from Bournemouth with my saints shirt on and don't anticipate any problems.
