  1. Exactly….. And when bookies stopped taking bets on Strachan coming back and taking over as our new manager, then Pards was appointed. I can’t believe so many people are getting their knickers in a twist over something that hasn’t even happened.
  2. Are you available for wedding parties and other such functions?
  3. I am with you on this! I've thought about 3 or 4 months ago that there had been a drop in picture quality on sky.
  4. This for me as well!
  5. Yah, finally some activity!
  6. I was impressed with the volume of pies they had in stock yesterday, they have really upped their game since the last home game. Had a madras pie, it was very good, but I did worry when I stuffed the last bit of corner pastry into my mouth in a hurry and went for a pee, as I almost chocked. The toilets at St Mary's isn't where I want to spend my last moments, but thankfully it dislodged itself without the need for the Heimlich Maneuver!
  7. That's the spirit!
  8. I think this second season in league one will do us good but a third season would be pushing that thinking somewhat. Even with the -10 points, we ended last season on promotion form, so the natural progression from that has to be promotion this season or it'll have shown a backwards step.
  9. That's just retarded. Just because someone has to go into hospital on a couple of occasions, doesn’t mean they are unfit to care for animals. The fact she is elderly doesn't mean she's not got another 20/30/40 years ahead of her. You are just making an assumption that as she's elderly and had to go into hospital she isn't able to look after herself/anyone else from now onwards.
  10. I guess this is an obvious question so assume the answer to this is no, but does she not have any family that can help? Even if they don't live locally, maybe they could foot the bill to put them in kennels for a few days?
  11. Good to to hear it knows its green cross code.
  12. Hummmmm, it’s an interesting question you raise there, are you after a cheap loft ladder? There are several factors that we need to take into consideration when asking this question. Firstly there is the theory that rich people buy expensive appliances. People with money often spend it on flash items like dresses, cars, etc. But will they also buy expensive produces that are considered ‘needed items’ such as lawn mowers, fridges and loft ladders? My personal opinion is that Kerry would not opt for an expensive loft ladder, but instead she would allocate the funds on some new shoes, or maybe a bulk purchase of Iceland party sized sausage rolls. Also I think it’s highly likely that the house already had a loft ladder, which would have been considered suitable for normal loft storage needs (This would have been prior to her going a bit mental and moving in the loft). It is my opinion that by the time she decided to move into the attic, she would not have thought about purchasing a good quality ladder to assist her entrance and exit, which is sad really, as it would have made her trips to the fridge or the bathroom for a peepee much easier. Of course I am surmising that she was still making used of the houses bathroom and kitchen facilities, but I have not searched through any Heat magazine for additional information on the subject. She could well have been peeing into empty 2.5 litre Dr Pepper bottles and having food delivered to her by family members. The arrival of family on the scene does however add an additional dimension to you question regarding the quality of here loft ladder, because of course they would still have been of sound mind and as such they’d have seen the obvious benefits of the installation of a better quality appliance. But my vast knowledge of the human mind leads me to believe that even if they had seen the benefits and even if they had been willing to have funded the loft ladder upgrade with their own money to help a loved one, the major stumbling block would be that in her frame of mind, Kerry would have not in any way been happy about the work taking place. Any suggestion to her of the plan would have agitated her to the point where putting their plans into action could have seriously put her at risk of self harm. Therefore in summary, it is my professional opinion that the answer to your question is ‘YES’ she does have a cheapo loft ladder. Naturally I would be happy for anyone to post any opposing theories around this much studied subject, especially if any of you have studied this at degree level.
  13. Thought this was funny... Guy sat in his car for 30 hours to stop it being towed away! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-10996451
  14. Same applies for kerry katona, seriously, why do people care if she's lost weight, got fat, or living in her attic?
  15. I find it hard to believe that anyone else on this forum would have such an unusual hair style!
  16. Yikes...nothing could look as bad as the Multipla. Even taking into consideration that everyone has different tastes, I honestly don't understand how any sane person could spend their money on one of those things!
  17. +1 Maybe we should start a deppo fan club, but we need to encourage the funny deppo rather than the sarcastic deppo. Sarcastic deppo makes me a sad panda
  18. How about one of these?
  19. I've thought this before! Seems perfectly reasonable, regardless of if people pay or not. Fair play to Son of Bob recently, he did exactly that and although I didn't agree with the thread being closed, I could at least understand why he had, due to his closing note.
  20. This was my first stage of self defence when an ex who was a bit of a mentalist started throwing punches at me outside her block of flats one evening after a conversation that had ended with me telling her I’d had enough of her being a d!ck. She obviously didn’t take to that too well and started throwing punches. The trouble with blocking punches is that after a while of doing that you get a bit bored, so my next step (as we were on grass) was to grab her and push her to the ground, I then knelt on her whilst I got her flat keys, then once I had them I legged it into her block (leaving her outside) grabbed my stuff that was there, came back down, gave her back her keys and left her shouting at me to come back!
  21. Good to hear it's being sorted. Otherwise my next suggestion was to give the task to your boys to sort out, should keep them busy for a while and would then save you having to take them anywhere
  22. As it's rented, this really shouldn't be your problem Baj. The fact that you've messed with the wiring shouldn't be a problem, faced with a noisy alarm going off 'out of hours' I think most people would do the same. The estate agency should have someone to sort this ASAP, don't take any cr*p from them!!!!!!
  23. So what you are saying Baj, is that they are not worth you driving an extra few miles! Shocking Baj, absolutely shocking!!!
  24. Only allow people to look at the car first thing in the morning after a night where it's covered in dew or frost, it worked for the guy who sold me my car, I didn't notice any of its scratches
  25. Classic, Spudgun 'likes'
