That Boro game has ignited their season hasnt it...................we are so so far behind the top after only 11 games,but RM will stay even after jan window ..........WHY.........................? our lack of a strong midfield pressence was so apparent again today.Only saw the last 30 mins but from what ever went on in the first half it didnt gain anything in the second. When are we going to get a coach/manager that has the tenacity to drive the team with fluid quick attractive tactics? do we want promotion?,can we afford promotion?(money gained by Sky aside).Fuck me another dissapointing mangerial cluster fuck. Wheres Sam AA?,he looked good in the early part of the season, promising you might say ,certainly not affraid to take a player on and move the ball quickly IMO. Better than Fraser,and whats with the new Ely-Smallbone getting ahead of Alcaraz all the time .Like most of our midfield plays backwards and sideways way too slow and safe,btw fucking cant tackle either, along with the rest.

Totally agree about the atmosphere, yes mostly in the first half the crowd were up for it,but it was quiet for long periods for non productive possession, that there were lots of moans and shouts from the Chapel end and justified too.Baz's distribution at times was dreadful and lacked pace to pick out KWP,and those were the times we could have shot ourselves in the foot . And yet the crowd came alive momentarily when the ball was moved across the pitch and above the halfway line quickly. Best 2 crowd songs were Sky sports your shit and jimmy savile, hes one of your own..........quality,football humour eh........! We won we move on .

I wonder in years to come then if this is happening for that what about getting the team that lost 9-0 at home and away the following season as landmark get together ?

Well all i know is that were are now currently 4 games as it stands behind automatic promotion, watched the stream today but only got the stream after boro got level.Thoughts,how does Smallbone get ahead of Alcaraz, and to some point Aribo(theres a player there somewhere). We have a set piece coach apparently!.From what i witnessed we were so so exposed through failure to connect with our own players, Boro should have had 2 more,but for an excellent save by Baz and some very poor decisions making by Boro. Our insistance of playing slow sideways and backward passing seems to stem from our midfield players not having the belief that they can or are capable of beating the player in front,and we show no strengths in tackling.We are so over run and weak,yes you might get whacked but youll never know if you dont show and put in the effort. Where to go from here? well it would help to go 4-4-2 imo and play the right player in the right place.Bree whats wrong with him? That young lad double barreled name ,looks bright and not affraid to make a cock up, why did he not play,Smallbone (WTF) as someone else pointed out, the new Redmond/Ely(shudders).Weve shown no real goal threat or seemingly have very little pressure to put onto any of the teams that weve played over the last 3 games and ...............................fucking breath.Flabbergasted to say the least.

how long ago do you want to go back before you see the improvement?............nearly all of whom have failed for some reason or other,and in the context of my comment Brighton have indeed improved where as we aint. IMO

couldn't agree more,also our recruitment personnel have chopped and changed a lot aswell,so there's no clear direction of recruiting the next right player,because everyone whats to stamp their own brand of player into the club ,but not necessarily the right one. But we have such a weak feeble i might get hurt midfield atm and its not getting any better.Why do we always try players in an unfamiliar playing style or out of position? RM and the rest of the coaching team have had plenty of time to make the correct team selection by now and should have a clear understaning of whos going to get on board and who cant cut it.

and quite possibly more tbf.............dont know what we do from here,promotion long way off on these appauling performances id say we will be lucky to see top 15.To be honest ,i thought we looked amazing away at newly promoted Weds,what given the fact it was their big opening night fixture ,then i was looking forward to Norwich and thought hang on we were lucky to get a point .Gritty performance away to Plymouth,and hey things are going to be ok ish.But the last 2 games bought back home the lack of quality and leadership the team sadly lacks ,and the ease of which the opposition can break through our press and seemingly score at will.Team selection is also a big concern. Were not a big physical unit that can win the ball back,but so far the team selections have been disappointing. Look the manager cant help what unfolds on the pitch from individual errors, but they have a responsibility to coach the team for better game management and scenarios.

Weren't we warned about all you've just pointed out, by the Swansea fans that had to endure this? ponderous play yet again,looks good but no end product AGAIN. I cant see what they see when we play .I hope this is just a blip,but as previous posts have said and ive read many with the same thread,we look so shacky when we loose the ball, and then panic sets in trying to defend.Same has been said time and time again over the last 2/3 seasons. Spin of the midfield has to be stronger than we have sadly,Smallbone way too lightweight,needs to be more creative but sadly not. Why didnt Alcaraz start instead? .Like most we need to identify our strongest team and stick with it,then tinker with that instead of trying to be too cute and out smart a seasoned manager in Mowbray. At halftime Sunderland didnt need to do anything as we played the self distruct playbook for them ,they only needed to pick us off when we were sloppy in ponderous play.BIG WAKE UP CALL for all involved and we need to sort out the fucking shambles that we call defending.
