Mate of mine went there and said it was a strange experience and didn't expect to feel as emotional as he did afterward. I think NC and more importantly ML will enjoy the day out, especially with our following, however, we are led to believe it has always been about promotion so therefore, if we are to believe what NC is pushing for then this 1 game is not about AP's future, a loss may be convenient if there is intent to get rid but I am sure a trophy for the first season as owner/in charge will supercede that. The pressure is there to win and will be made clear by the near on 50k supporting !

Fail to understand what Samuel was looking to achieve with a personal attack on NC because that is all it is, would have thought if he wanted to look in this direction he concentrated on events further down the M27, there would then be a point to the article. To have a pop at NC, without imo, real grounds to do so smacks of someone nudging him to do the article, quotes such as "we have thrown away too many points" is a fair comment one which I am sure AP would struggle to disagree with. This article was written with an ulterior motive imo, we, the ones who are really interested, are aware NC is ambitious, its been planted all over here and elsewhere, I for one hope AP can take us where NC and in turn ML want us to be but if they feel he is not the man to do it there is nothing we or Samuel(if genuinely interested) can do but rely on their judgement.

Surely he was considered as a guest of the finalists ? perhaps he was contracted with Sky ? Wembley yes, SMS no, purely for consistency, the owner came out and said that if he paid for his ticket then so should everyone else this does not prevent the owner/chairman periodically inviting servants of the club to the best hospitality we can offer as appreciation, I know no hospitality or ticket would come anywhere near to paying him back for those years but where do you stop ?
