Worst post ever!!! Its about celebrating having a club to support, I was expecting a great atmosphere full of celebration because we've finally turned a corner, but mourons still seem intent of continuing this negative spin. who cares if we get hammered 23-0! The club is in the stongest posistion off the field it has been in years!

I'm pretty sure this statement is purely to protect ego's. The football leagues statement highlights the fact the only stumbling block was proof of funds... Pinnacle then come back with a statement that basically reads "ohhhh ohhhh really, funds the only issue... well we might take another look then" Knowing full well that they dont have the funds to complete. This, I suspect, is the last you will hear of Pinnacle

Not true, I dont see Lee todd, olivier bernard, or Stig Johansen in that line up... PS Stig Johansen was actually amazing in CM 97/98 I remember getting his value to a good 10 million once!

Happy with that, think he should be given the chance seeing as he has showed continual commitment to the club in a time when others would have fled.

Sad to see him go, Surman was a good professional and a Southampton fan, his form let him down a bit last season but I'm sure he'd have been a vital part of the team this season... had he stayed. I think he'll struggle in the prem, and is going to wolves purely as a squad player. I'd be surprised if he started more than 10 games, all the same... best of luck to him.... we need the money

The issues that are preventing Pinnacle taking over are with the FL so it would be pointless for Fry to act as a middle man between Pinnacle & the FL. He's out seeking further buyers that could step up should Pinnacles bid collapse... because thats what he's supposed to do. The fact that fry is out talking with other consortuims has nothing to do with Pinnacles bid

Without knowing any facts I wouldn’t know, but any animosity towards a consortium trying to save our football club (succeed or fail) is grossly misdirected IMHO

I just hope the frustration of some that the deal is taking so long doesnt turn to animosity against the pinnacle group as Tony sounds like a very astute man. Lets have some good news on this edition of "Take over Friday"
