Wow the usual trolls come in ruin another perfectly good thread. So anyway back to the subject..........

So at the very beginning NA and NC spoke about a project and this word has been mentioned randomly ever since. MP even mentioned the ‘Project’ at his unveiling. I was wondering what this project was in its current form? League Ones project was to be in the Premiership within 5 years …….. Tick. Projects change and evolve with time and enviroment so the Project and its conception at the beginning when ML and NC came on the scene would be very different to the one we have now. Does anyone know what this ‘Project’ is currently?

I've got to be honest I used to have a real dislike for him when he played for United but he is fast becoming one of the best pundits on the tele. His insight into the future of Southampton and relating it to the past that we had with the likes of the Shearers, Wallaces, MLT etc etc was spot on and shows that he has got a real knowledge of football. with everything that's been said about our club over the last few days I thought he'd talked the most sense.

I'll hold my hands up. I was calling for Adkins head. But then I consider myself to be a standard football fan that gets sucked into the moment. It's a results business and the thing that frustrated me was the way in which he stuck with players that were making stupid errors out of which felt like a misguided sense of loyalty. It feels like he has changed this now by bringing in Shaw over Fox and now Davis over Gazza (although Davis as a replacement? Still think we need a new keeper in January). I think the moment it changed for me was when we lost to West Bromwich and saw the fans backing the team. I thought to myself then that I should be with them instead of getting on Adkins back. Very happy to be proved wrong in this situation.

Just passing on what I've heard. A friend at work has a contact at SMS (I think it's an old school friend). He has said that Harry Rednapp is being lined up to take over. What makes this more credible is that this guy was spot on about Dave Jones becoming SW manager. He had this knowledge well in advance of it happening.

Sorry but after today Nigel has to go. It just hasn't happened. I'm sure he has a game plan but it feels that there isn't a plan b. out of his depth tactically with a weak back four and poor transfers. I know others that have used this guide to and it has worked for them. Get reading and good luck.
