  1. says the man who has 12,913 posts on said forum which make up approximately 1.8% of all posts on Saints Web ever. Some of the above may be made up.
  2. We should build one of these. Went up it and ate on xmas day last year, the whole experience was amazing, being able to eat whilst slowly rotating and admiring the views (admittedly loads of the view was of Eastern German tower blocks but still, I was impressed) http://www.tv-turm.de/en/index.php
  3. Yeah, he told them to sort it out and update the website. Seems to have done the trick (and if others have done the same of course!)
  4. My bro just bought some via phone too, as the website is incorrect and the ticket office were suprised the website says so. Wonder how many people have not bothered trying to buy tickets after reading the website...
  5. Does it work on Nokia 3210's?
  6. Check out number 7 on the list. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/oct/05/manchester-city-sheikh-mansour-rich-list?newsfeed=true Its probably the same for fans of other clubs, wondering where Southampton get all their money from, until they see these rich lists and realise how wealthy the owners are.
  7. You do realise that it makes no difference in email addresses whether letters are upper or lower case? So your first post was enough good luck selling the tickets!
  8. If most people that go to home games don't even notice music after a goal, what is the point in having it? What is the point in having it even if everyone does notice it?
  9. Just seen the goals on SSN. 2 quality penalties from Lambert, both very different, very well taken goal from Guly and slight deflection on Holmes strike. Good times!!
  10. so did McGoldrick
  11. No idea how many times he has hit the post. He has scored 4 though. I believe they are the same, and I would agree it probably is harder to hit the post than score. The posts are significantly less than a foot wide by the way. Please therefore continue to draw your own conclusions as to their similarities and ability.
  12. Taarabt has hit the post 3 times so far this season in the EPL fact fans without scoring. Draw your own conclusions as to whether this means Lallana is better/as good/worse.
  13. The bold bit was my favourite part of that, although it was all well said. Name no names eh?
  14. MOTD (and journalists etc) "cream" themselves over Man Utd because they play the best football and win the most games. Pretty simple concept. I see you are talking simply from a selfish point of view that you won't be able to afford a season ticket when in the prem however (calling you selfish might be a big harsh of course, as the price will rise and people will unfortunately be priced out of the market, which is never good for the average fan. But I presume you are joking with your Spain comment, as apart from the games with Barcelona/Real Madrid, their league does not compare with the Prem. Sure they have some decent individuals, and some of their other teams are mildly competitive, but you can't complain that the Prem league is predicatable, and the "same old club in the top 4/5 places" and then in your next post say that La Liga is a better league! They only ever have one of two winners! I wonder if fans of teams in the 2nd division in Spain have this problem too, and do not want to get promoted to La Liga as they know they won't be able to win it. No, I doubt it.
  15. Not saying you're wrong, but I've seen better.
  16. Not really your Man Of The Match then was he? More your Man Of The Last 20 Minutes As He Got More Goals Than Anyone Else When I Was Listening And Some Men On The Radio Said He Played Well.
  17. existing
  18. I think your mate came back round in his van when you were out and put the ghost back in your house. Gutted.

    The Peak

Everyone enjoys winning, this means we end up top of the league, everyone is happy and says how wonderful the Championship is. The problem being, the more we win, the more likely we will get promotion. And then we'll end up in the Premier league that everyone seems to be saying is so awful. So if we weren't winning, we would be mid table, or lower, everyone would be trying to figure out what is going wrong, which players are our weak links, which players we need to sign, arguing with one another, being grumpy at home after losing to Rochdale again, and demanding we buy better and more expensive players to achieve this. Suddenly being in the Championship won't be so rosy and everyone would want to be in the Premier League. So enjoying ourselves in the Championship, and then ending up in the Premier League aren't really mutually exclusive, unless everyone hoped we lost in the playoffs each season after finishing 3rd by one point (as much success we could get without achieving promotion). As for any peaks, I hope it is Champions League football, but right now, will settle for the Prem! Although that isn't aiming very high considering our current form/position!
  20. ahh beautiful http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14965494.stm
  21. Just said on Talksport (I can't start a new thread I think, nor can I see the story anywhere on line) that Pardew is again considering a move for Rickie Lambert in January. £5m was talked about, not sure where the story has come from though, or why now.
  22. Admit it, you're jealous of the attention he is getting.
  23. Sounds a bit odd to me. Just googled "chris crimble father christmas", with hilarious results
  24. Was that on Radio 2 a couple of mornings ago with Chris Evans? I was wondering who is was as it sounded poor, and was surprised at the end when he said it was Johnny Cash (not that I know much about him, apart from his fame and success etc) Jedward have made a small amount of music and are poor singers. Does that count?
  25. Certainly not at xmas it won't be, as he is already apparently on £25k a week, and we'll be on track to the Prem ourselves, and he'll be sure to get a decent payrise with us when that happens.
