  2. Something in my pocket decided to join the conversation but doesn't seem to have to much to say on the matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Exactly. Not taking particular issue with this post but as you say there are so many similar on this site. The poster I questioned seems one of the worst culprits. Some are even stating as fact what is going to happen in the future! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. May I ask what this is based on, do you know him personally? Why is it likely that he will go to City or Liverpool, what is this assertion based on? The content strikes me as an opinion but is written as fact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Oops! Not posted for a long time but I'm sure you can all guess who I was meaning to reply to...
  7. As much as I find the usual suspects on this site annoying and find all the negativity over the top and unjust. I have to say you are the most tiresome poster on this site. If you have an opinion of your own, post it. I think you should promise yourself not to post a reply to anyone or mention another poster in any future comments, just give your opinion.
  8. I work for a consultancy as a Project Manager on large construction projects and as mentioned it is likely the club have employed a PM to administer the contract. The involvement of the architect will largely depend on the type of contract being used. In most cases the architect is still employed throughout the build providing more detailed construction information as the project progresses and is also likely that things like door handles, furniture and other details have yet to be agreed and design meeting will usually be held throughout the build process to agree these final details. Once the contracts are signed and the build begins client changes can end up being expensive as the contractor is no longer in a competitive situation, knowing what has been said about NC in the past this could be a sticking point particularly if these changes are fairly major. Stopping a contractor once the contract has begun means extended prelims and is a decision not usually taken lightly.
  9. Ha, never got to see it at the time for that reason but a few years later was watching a sky sports FA cup classics, its only then I noticed we were on the TV! Probably the most exciting game I remember going to if only for the fact we beat Man U at OT and on penalties!
  10. I was 13/14 that season and stood at the back of the family centre in those days, me and a mate would stand on the slopping section of the back wall hanging on to the metal spikes so we could see over everyone. During the Norwich game I slipped and banged the back of my head on the steel beam, made an almighty crack. Stewards came running up and took me down to the first aid area at the entrance to the tunnel. They patched me up and let me leave to go back up to the family centre as the half time whistle went, I stood there as all the players went past me saying hi or something to Letiss who patted me on my head as he passed, it was at the time the greatest moment of my life. That season was amazing and I was lucky enough to go to almost all the games home and away as my dad took me and a friend all over, only missed a few midweek away games. As with the OP I think the Liverpool game was one of the best, also up there for sheer excitement and joy was the cup replay at Old Trafford a couple of years later when we knocked United out on penalties, Flowers ran the length of the pitch after saving giggs's penalty, I was going nuts hanging onto the fence at the front of the stands, made my debut appearance on tv as the saints players were celebrating right in front of me and my mate, I remember going to school the next afternoon really tired but I couldn’t wait to get there and gloat. (I went to school in Gosport so loads of Pompey & Man U fans)
  11. My last comment was in reply to the comment Wes tender #43 that suggested that because the FA say it is so then it must be right!!
  12. So a mid table team playing a championship chasing team or relegation avoiding team and not turning up is better and more acceptable??? I would rather a team in tenth with 2 games left, played to win like they should every other game. Just because the FA say it is wrong means F all, in europe it is common practice.
  13. pretty much all he said makes sense, surely every team sould be going out to win every game, an incentive to do so is just encourage them to do what they sould be doing any way. To pay a team to lose is completely different, those who think otherwise need to get a grip.
  14. Living up to you name being able to deduce that without watching the game!
  15. does he? He is brazilian and has played in Italy, can't see anything to make me think he would speak Spanish
