Right now I'd be happy with Nigel Pearson until the end of the season, he may be able to get some fire back into the players bellies, and is capable of helping teams survive (we ourselves are an example of this). The only hope now is that we can sign Martin Caceres now that he's unlikely to go to Palace (due to the fact they've signed Sakho). However, his wage demands are apparently £100k per week, and given out situation would hold the upper hand in negotiations.... I don't think he played that badly today, but it does worry me that the club are trying to ram it down our throats through player interviews & social media clips of him training that he's a world beater, almost as if they're trying to soften the blow that we're not getting anybody else in, but that Redmond is of enough quality to carry us forward.... Plus he's way down the Barca pecking order, so would be no requirement their end to keep things quiet so that they can source a replacement (which is what AR10 claimed).

Interestingly no Isgrove, perhaps he's off? Doesn't seem to have shown much over pre-season to suggest he'll be involved in the first team, & the only way I could see him being saved for Saturday would be if he was starting, which I consider unlikely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Makes sense - today's signings would probably be considered relatively straight forward, & I agree that at least now we're solid in all areas, barring any injuries in the upcoming fortnight. One, maybe two players who, between them, can cover AMC, the flanks and upfront & we'll be fine.
