Apparantly some ***t took out Richardson with a slide tackle, which led to him hobbling off down the tunnel?! Other than that, thought it all went well and everybody got what they want, fans who wanted to get on the pitch did, and the players were still presented with the trophy.

It's a bit of rain ffs, man up people!

Kevin Gibbens playing? -
Think I paid £400 for mine near the halfway line...expecting about £500 this year.

SSN at 5 to see Stuart Pearce at SMS for U21 squad
LeBenali replied to saintjay77's topic in The Saints
He will almost certainly be in the final squad, personally it's through merit, but commercally it'll sell a fair few more tickets from us locals... -
Would love to see Sam Vokes here, as a Saints fan I can see it as a real possibility, unless Wolves get relegated and find a need to keep him for themselves.

What's your very first memory of a Saints game?

95/96 season. must have been 8 or 9 at the time, we lost 3-2 at home to Chelsea, remember Shipperley scoring for us, and Gullit scoring (what I remember to be) a screamer for them. -
Lallana is an Everton fan....he's followed Saints as such as he's been with us a few years, but not much more.
-
As above, or I also used to find it cheaper to get separate tickets to Salisbury, then another from there to Plymouth.

What was the song directed at Davis around the 70th minute mark (whilst there was a break in play due to the Hartlepool injury)? Couldn't hear it properly from where I was, but I saw Kelv and the rest of the Northam raise a smile when it was sung.

I think you'll find Mr Perfect that it was three years ago.

Told my dad at half time that the two things we needed to do second half were bring on Forte, and to get Harding to start drilling his crosses instead of floating them in. And how did we score the 2nd goal? I'm waiting for Nigels call to come and sit with him in the dugout for Tuesdays game

Corrected for you
-
Also noticed we've only let in 10 goals at home this season, the best in the league. It's quite a novelty!
-
Tbf our OS states Guly is a midfielder, yet is played predominantly upfront.
-
He comes across as gangly and clumsy to me, but he must have 'something' for Adkins to have a certain amount of faith in him, so I'm prepared to give him a chance to prove himself!

If we win on Saturday: Good for Saints, Bad for Bournemouth

Not sure, will be good when Connolly is fit and back in the side though, he's our best striker ffs. -
I think each case needs to be looked at individually, and I think this case warranted it's own minutes applause/silence, bearing he was our Player of the Year little over 10 years ago.

I believe we've been allocated The Moon in the Square in the town centre (a Wetherspoons). Got security on the door from 9am, and apparantly the only people they're letting in are Saints fans and well known regulars. About a mile from the train station, but in the opposite direction to Dean Court.

Morgan is out for a "few weeks" according to Adkins on SaintsPlayer...seems he wants to bring a loanee in as cover if the chance arises.
-
I'm Jason Puncheon, I'll prove it by playing really well for Blackpool for a short amount of time, then stop caring when my next big pay packet comes through.
-
Dickson is fit to play tomorrow...whether he's back in the 18 is a different matter.
