Assist stats can be somewhat misleading, I remember reading somewhere that officially Bale only got about 4 assists for Spuds last year...basically from where he does all the hard work down the left wing, beats some players and whips in a cross, which is then (for example) nodded down by Crouch for Van Der Vaart to score. The assist would go down as Crouchies, but the most valuable work in the move would have been Bales.

Doesn't specifically say that current season ticket holders renewing have priority over their own seat, just that they have first dibs in the 2 week period. I'm presuming the fact we can get our own seat needs to go without saying...!

That's the Olympics you're thinking of there mate. From looking at the midfielders in the squad, perhaps Albrighton aside (due to the number of full games he's played), I don't think we could have any arguements about any of those players being picked ahead of Lallana. However, their loss will be our gain next season!

Didn't they do similar last year, release loads of youngsters who could well have been good enough squad players, so that they could plead with the FL that they had no players which then allowed them to get in expensive loans like Kitson & Lawrence?

Fairplay to the guy, definitely has a case of 'face you want to smack' syndrome though!
