Didn't think there was anything wrong with it at the time, and that's from my position by the halfway line. Watching that again confirms it, so I guess it balances the fact we were lucky to get the free kick for our equaliser.

Is currently behind Cox & Blackstock in the pecking order at Forest - he's only started the last couple of games due to their suspension. I'm pretty sure we'd still have scored the same number of goals had he still been here...
-
For me it was more the fact that he took off Lambert & therefore made all 3 subs with a quarter of the game to go. Obviously the first and likely the 2nd sub were forced upon him, and Guly didn't do anything wrong when he came on, but if anything went wrong (which it did nearly straight away when we conceded) then it's a hell of a long time to go without being able to make any further changes.

If they stop doing programmes in the near future will that mean they stop doing the competition where you have to jump up and down to 'Jump Around' whilst waving your programme in the air? RIP to that compo if so

Southampton v Newcastle 03/04 on ESPN Classic, 2.45pm

Also at 8.55pm they have our game against Blackburn in the 98/99 season. -
As in the red button service around 10pm? I think you can yes, but not 100% sure.
-
I wait with anticipation the reaction when FM2013 is released and we see the stats MLG has given our squad
-
Would be surprised to see him go to Forest - they have Danny Collins as their preferred left footed defender, alongside Daniel Ayala and a nipper (Lascelles?) who are all rated quite highly, so could only see him going there as back up to Collins. Unless he's guaranteed games at Millwall, he'd surely be better off staying with us?

Got mine online this morning no worries at all, spent about 5 minutes in the queue at 9am then breezed through the rest. I guess the fiasco with Arsenal game online was due to demand rather than the site itself.
-
Forest supporting mate of mine is excited at the prospect of Sharp & Cox upfront together, I think he's only had a few sub appearances so far as good old Dexter is keeping him out the team.
-
I know people who booked tickets in the home end over the weekend and they don't have many tickets left at all (I imagine due to the kids for a quid offer) so any of our fans hoping to get in the home end will be disappointed! Being a season ticket holder who went to the Gooners game, I don't expect too many issues getting my tickets on Thursday, as long as the online system works ok...!

Football Manager says he has poor concentration & is very eccentric, on that basis I'd rather re-sign Alan Blayney...... But seriously this is a great signing & another 'problem position' sorted. Will this mean we loan Gazza out? It would be far more beneficial having him play regular football as opposed to sitting on the bench.
-
Cracking news, what with becoming our captain, his missus expecting their child any day & now his international call up, it's turning out to be a good few weeks for him!
-
I've mentioned him on here before, but Danny Gabbidon? He is by no means a world beater but as a 4th choice centre back he'd do a job, I'd certainly have more confidence in him than Seaborne/Richardson/Stephens at CB.
-
Although the subs didn't help, the main game changer game after the penalty, as it gave Utd belief and turned the momentum in their favour. For what it's worth I'd have taken off Lambert as he did look knackered, but replaced him with Jay Rod as this would be the closest like-for-like sub that we could use. Puncheon looked fine and was doing a good job going forward and protecting Clyne, and Lallana didn't look like he'd fully ran out of gas.

Coventry were already relegated when we played them at the end of last season. I remember a Wayne Bridge free kick sent Wimbledon down when we were playing at The Dell.
-
Being as we can still sign out of contract players after the cooling off period, what would people think about us signing Danny Gabbidon on a years contract? He may not be of the comparable quality of signings like Ramirez, but as a fourth choice central defender with Premier League & international experience, surely on a free transfer he'd be worth a punt? If you asked me whether I'd prefer Gabbidon or one of Seaborne/Stephens/Richardson at centre back, I'd pick Gabbidon every time.

Ryan Babel?

Of course we did the sensible thing, had it been Wednesday then fair enough, but players like Sharp & Puncheon who will probably be in the 18 on Sunday could have potentially played 120 minutes just three days before.
-
If that's the case, then something like: Gazza Richardson Stephens Seaborne Shaw Hammond JWP Chaplow Puncheon Sharp Lee
-
I'm not sure how it would work - would he need his work permit in place before he could sign on the dotted line? If so, then that too would need to be sorted by Friday.

It's interesting to see that quite a few of our youngsters (mainly from the Dutch era) are now plying their trade in the non-Leagues, will be intriguing to see whether any of them build themselves up to league football again in the next couple of years. For example, Jake Thomson is at Newport, Callum McNish is at Braintree & Jamie White is at Salisbury.
-
So does that mean we're twice as close to signing him as before? How do I change my vote at the top of the page from No to Yes??
-
What's to stop Ramirez now putting in a transfer request to push the move through?
-
I wonder if any potential Spurs deal would rely on Modric moving to Madrid? As there doesn't appear to be much movement in that deal at the moment, I hope we're not waiting around for a few days just to be told that they are/aren't interested in Ramirez...
