I played about 10-15 matches with some mates round here last night, then switched over to Fifa 09....well, that games ruined for me now. It feels like you're playing in custard on 09 compared to 10. Seriously can't wait for it now.

Right, downloaded, played a few matches.....it looks the same as 08 but plays much more fluidly. Its hard to describe, but through balls actually work for me now. Loving the idea of multiplayer practice sessions. Basically an Xbox Live Party, with a ball.

Absolutely. Some talk of us as if we're a big club. We're not, and never have been. It might seem that way considering the size of the stadium and infrastructure.....but the only thing that truely matters is on the pitch, and we've always been underperforming minnows that occasionally punched above out weight (Strachen-era). We're in League One because we're crap on the pitch, and its nothing new. That doesn't mean we don't have ambition to better ourselves...its just not our style though. Apart from 1976 and 2003, we've not had a lot to shout about. COYR!

I've got an EDGE DS card for sale. http://www.edge-ds.cn/?lang=en It allows you to do some nifty things with a Nintendo DS or DS Lite. I ordered one from a Hong Kong shop, but after reading up about them afterwards (D'oh), I was a bit concerned with long shipping times. So I ordered one from a UK shop.... Predictably, both arrived within a week. so one has to go. Of course its it mint condition with the box (but no rubber band...its been pinched by my Mrs!). I've used the card for about 5 mins with my 4GB Micro SD card (supply your own), and it works spot on, no problem, so no chance of it being a dodgy fake card like some around. £12 posted through PayPal to your door via 1st class recorded. Can shoot a video if you like of it booting up and running my Micro SD card.

My sucesses are usually more luck than judgement. And 150 attempts.

We're not going to be champions this year - fact. We're not going to get promoted this year - fact. We'll be lucky to get mid-table this year -fact. I can't see why anyone would expect any of the above to happen considering what happened over the summer. AP is the future, he's going to build a squad over this season and the next pre-season to get the job done. Not in the couple of months he's been here FFS!

In the end I picked the EDGE DS card because of the ease of use and availability. Got a 4GB Kingston Micro SD card too, and all seems to work flawlessly. Oh, and its got a funky triangle box! Though I ordered the EDGE card from Deal Extreme, and read after about long-ish delivery time....so got bored and got another from NDS-Gear. It came next day, so I'll have the second one turn up soon. Thanks for all the advice though .

How deliciously addictive is this game? I'm stuck on one of the 'Hard' tracks, blimey it gets tough towards the end!

Thanks. I've read a lot about the R4 being the card to get, but that was mostly from 2008, is that still the case now? What about updates, seeing as the dev team aren't together anymore? It was (marginally) simpler on the PSP to ''enhance'' it.

The Mrs has got a DS Lite as a free gift with her phone contract, and I've been looking into flash carts for it. Which is the best (cheapest) one around? I've read a lot about the TTDS and I'm edging towards that, unless someone says otherwise? Mostly for backups for now. And any reliable UK sources as I don't like the look of some of the shops I've discovered through Google (they seem a bit....backstreet/back bedroom scam type). Also looking for a memory card too (4 or 8GB, and a USB reader). Any help apprieciated.

If they haven't got the ability, trying hard won't make up for it. Thats why I'll never race in F1.
