  1. Congratulations. Your work here is done.
  2. Saw these this morning http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/24847305 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24857596 Nice write up - looks like Hodgson has realised he might have a conveyor belt of talent coming out of the Mighty Saints! Good picture of the lads with an England shirt.
  3. I thought the coverage of his time at Saints was pretty good tbh. Showed some of his goals for us, very complimetary about how we brought him on, etc. Burley looks like he's sobered up!
  4. That last one has a hairy back - what bloke would have a thong tattoo?
  5. What you guys need to get more people on the site is some cheerleaders ;-0 http://www.thatvideosite.com/v/11800/lithuanian-cheerleaders
  6. OH yes, and more besides :-) Loved the lesbo action series. Well done, whoever resurrected this. Worth popping into TMS today!
  7. Except this seasons home strip. Last seasons was much, much better.
  8. Lest we forget. What a journey! Watched the game in a Brit bar in Warsaw, met an ex pat Saints fan who has followed the Saints as long as me (Ron Davies and Terry Paine - in the chocolate boxes as nippers) with el classico on the other screen - boy did we let rip when the goals went in!!! Just got to love the team performance. As others have said, it is like our league one and championship seasons when we just ripped teams a new one! I'm loving it. Ad all the banter over Osvaldo, etc, who gives a f u c k??? He has joined a premier team and he will have to prove himself at the highest level now. Competition for places is great - strength in depth - isn't that what we want to achieve??? As I texted my brother in law - the sky is the limit - could we really be the next Barca/Bayern?? We were that good today, it was amazing to see. COYS!!! God bless Rickie - he's living the dream!
  9. Does that mean that all the players who sit on the sub's bench are not good enough to start for our First team? Funny, I thought this was a squad game, and that the 25 named as being in the TEAM were all good enough to start. Please correct me if I am wrong. Are you saying Jack Cork isn't good enough to start for our first team? Mental.
  10. Good questions asked at the end of your piece. I feel MoPo doesn't know his best team yet. Always enjoy reading your assessment of the games - cheers!
  11. The team have arrived at the hotel - missed them coming off the coach, as I was swimming. They have yoga at 6.30, followed by dinner at 7 . COYR!!
  12. Loving it! Great to read the thread tonite ! WTFILN Sha lala la lala lala!!! Enjoy league 2 you dirty cheating skate barstewards!!! YESSSSSS
  13. I work there during the week and the local fans have been giving them real stick in the local paper for dropping off after their Cup win. It will be a great game between 2 good footballing sides. The big plus is they are staying at the same hotel as me! Looking forward to seeing MoPo in the bar and finding out how good his English is :-) 2-2 draw for me.
  14. Speaking to a Swansea fan here, Liverpool are allegedly in for half of their first team as well! Just tells me they realise they have a serious rebuilding job to do in the Summer.
  15. Christ on a bike! The usual trolls hijack YET ANOTHER thread! When are the moderators gonna do something about the spammers on this board?? Is there any wonder no-one posts on this forum anymore?
  16. The simple reason is if the contract states 12 months notice, then that kicks in at the time of termination. You can't arbitrarily decide when the notice period starts to suit your own agenda.
  17. Any "fan" of this club who is supporting NC on this matter is a seriously deluded bellend. He f**king shafted the Manager FFS! I hope Nige gets what he is entitled to in his contract, which I am sure is all he is after.
  18. Has to be post of the day! Congrats! I was on SF back in the day under this name.
  19. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/southampton/9658684/Southampton-on-verge-of-sacking-Nigel-Adkins-if-a-suitable-replacement-is-available-quickly.html Sounds like Cortese is being realistic about finding a replacement before saying goodbye to Nige.
  20. Obviously not loudly enough (thank f**k)
  21. Have to agree that the Full back changes at half time made a significant difference. Thought Clyne looked very comfortable at LB and Richardson was his usual dependable self. Plus Ireland going off opened up the midfield for us, as he had been bossing it in the 1st half. Can't see a way back for Fox after that 2nd half. Very, very pleased for the boys today - it looked as if we remembered how we normally play. Also glad that "Pompey scum" only got sung once. Nigel is working out how to balance the side, which is great. We were due to give someone a tonking, that said, Villa were average. But there are a few other teams like them in this division, so there is no doubt we will pick up points. Very pleased for the new signings, and I think they will now appreciate what this club means to the fans after today. Still, one game at a time. Chuckled in the car when I heard Nige trot out "together as one" in his post-match interview, but if they maintain belief, and maintain the pace they showed 2nd half, we can have a great season.
  22. Yep, pretty much agree with that, full back is where we are limited at the moment. Don't get me wrong, the players in those positions have done a great job for us this season, but their limitations are plain to see. Should we be lucky enough to go up, then we will need to reinforce in the areas you mention. Christ, I was disappointed tonight!
  23. Reading came with a game plan that was very effective - the result shows this to be the case. I agree that we should get behind the team - we are so close with 3 games to go. However, I thought that this game just reinforced what I have seen over the season, and there is no doubt that, should we go up, we will need to make significant changes. I won't pick on individual players - there have been some very astutue observations from previous posters as to the limitations in the team which were displayed to the nation tonight. I just think if we played the same way down the left as we did last season, we would be posing a lot more questions to teams like Reading. It is a shame that Lee got injured - from the games I saw him play in, I thought we were nailed on to go up as champions, and he is sorely missed. We have no-one else with pace up front to tear teams apart, as we were tonight. Still, our fate is totally in our hands, as most of us expected it would be. There are three games to go - 9 points will definitely see us up. Over to you Nigel.
  24. This. Fox was ****e at shutting down both their first two goals. Has he ever put his foot in this season in those positions?
