  1. The OS says he's got 7 assists this season.
  2. +1 on all that
  3. Same here ive been saying all season that James is a good player for us, yes defensively he can be suspect at times, his positioning and speed can be a problem but hes been pushed into the RB spot and not whinged once, hes got a great attitude and a good delivery, hes actually one of our top assisters this season with about 6 or 7! When played in CM he does give us more bite than others there, i certainly wouldnt start him there ahead of Spider and Hammond as they work well together and are probably better than him there anyway but towards the end of a game he is very useful. Hes also been in the league 1 team of the week this season and yet people wont give him a chance because of last season which agreed he was poor, but always improving.
  4. Amazingly we had a bigger attendance than Birmingham who had Chelsea visiting...
  5. Would like a third goal for us to reward the 30,000 or so fans there, then rest the key players ready for monday, Lambert, Connolly and Lallana?
  6. Up on bbc website now: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8416867.stm
  7. Even without the rule that you cant play for 3 clubs in a season, there would be no way at all rickie would want to go, or that we would even consider selling him, no way.
  8. We want 4, we want 4. He stands at over 6ft 3 Ricky, Ricky....
  9. Fantastic to wake up this morning and see Saints in 15th, after seeing us in the relegation zone for something like 337 days, it feels great to see us clear at last. Some people say that our position at the moment doesn't matter but IMO it does, it is good for the fans confidence, it will boost our next home attendance (expect about 23k for Tranmere), and it will be good for the club to bring in better players during January.
  10. Have always liked James when hes played in midfield, glad to see that he had a good game today as his work does sometimes go unnoticed unfortunately. Cracking result.
  11. In the relegation zone for 337 days!!! Feels great to be out
  12. Lets have some player ratings then, seems to be a hugely varying opinion on Waigo.
  13. 3-2 again I reckon, hope it is a lot easier than that though.
  14. Amazing that a player can come in and make himself the complete centrepiece of our team in a matter of months. If he doesn't play it hurts the team so much, great player.

    Highlights?

Great view of Lallana's second goal, would be good to get a close up of that form the same angle.
  16. Never agreed with the statement "sell and we will strengthen", as who are we realistically going to sign that is better than him?
  17. Fair play to all of you that are going up, wish I could make it.
  18. Hahahahahah ooooow I love knee jerk reactions like this! It's one game, we have, what, another 30 to go in the league?? Calm down sir.
  19. Some people need to calm down, they were always going to come flying out of the traps cus of their new manager, and yes we couldn't deal with it as we have been below par. But we are now just 1 goal behind, and our average over the last 8 games or so is roughly 3 goals a game, with most of those coming in the second half. Lets not go slitting the wrists quite yet. The second half is ours COYR
  20. Sounds promising, hope that is the case.
  21. Norwich are in great form... even better than ours, they've won 8 of their last 9 games, and the one they lost in that time was away to Leeds. Still, i'm feeling confident of getting a result, though I doubt it will be easy by any stretch of the imagination. Hopefully it will be a good game, as you've got us scoring freely (what is it, about a average of 3 goals a game??), and them with only 4 goals conceded in their last 9 games.
  22. So, previous saints players, Pele, Best... Rooney?
  23. Moooooooving on up, Moooooving on out, Time to break free, Noooooooothing can stop me (us)
  24. Ricky Lambert Southamton's goal machine!
