I have Alpine on ignore, he most negative poster.....who moaned constently whilst we achived back to back promotions...and survived last year in the PL. To the transfer committee question I think you are harsh when you think that back to back promotions were achieved, some players are bought on the understanding that they are a work in progress, others satisfy a short term requirement. Others not. Lambert fantastic buy, Fox is an excellent purchase, same for Rodrigues, same for Chaplow, Sharp, Guly too. It's all about opinions at the end of the day.....we all go with what we know at the time. Anyone who thinks they are poor are probably unable to link where we and where we are now, the speed at which we arrived here.

I am in a minority here in saying that I was not convinced by our high pressing game as I felt it left us exposed when a move broke down. Anyone else think the same?

Sad news....

Thanks Colin.....it looks great. I had both a BGT and a Midget. My BGT was a duffer, sadly. It was damask red which was nice.....it was not reliable, the engine blew up etc etc. The Midget was reliable and fun to drive and 25% of the price of the BGT.

Oh and I would get them re-chromed. How about a photo?

I plan to get on the pitch with my DSLR and a couple of handy lenses and make the most of it..... I am happier after list night's Wigan result.

I am pleased to see a thread like this one......27 years Wow! So many games. Did the Old Trafford tour a few years ago....the infamous grey shirt was on display in their museum.....the tour by the way was brilliant...2 tours an hour 50 people each tour, loads more just popped in and were buying .....hundreds of diners in their restaurent. So many nationalities all made possible by Sir Alex and his management....the end f an era and maybe just maybe, something for us to aspire to. My son and I drove home first behind the Man Utd coach after the last game. Without trying were were level with Ferguson and Phelan.....

Sums it up for me too.....scoring goals is a problem for most teams to be fair. It needs addressing and it will be I am sure.
