  1. I was surprised to read how many Israelis would like Palestine to have it's own state etc. it is not the image painted by the media but then again the BBC just used a photo taken in Iraq in 2003 to illustrate the situation in Syria.
  2. http://www.storyleak.com/ron-paul-syria-chemical-attack-a-flase-flag/ Ron Paul......
  3. At the website of French weekly Valeurs Actuelles, an interesting message from a threader mentions the arrest by the Turkish authorities on the 30th May 2013 of a dozen members of Al Nosra ( close to Al Qaida). The same also reports on a dispatch from Agence France Press regarding the recent seizure of ” a great quantity of gas masks” in South East Lebanon; According to an anonymous source these masks were to be delivered in Syria.
  4. http://the-tap.blogspot.co.uk/ Thanks from me to my brother for sending me this url ages ago.....a lot of info on Syria on it.....
  5. Its clear to me that without intervention Assad will win the civil and the West don't like it. Assad has no reason to use weopons, there is too much evidence suggesting that the rebels used them or that the West via the rebels used them ad a pretext to get involved.
  6. Pretty much agree with everything. Why don't the BBC ask about proof that Assad used the weopons? Sadly for the powers that be, too many of us see through this now. To be honest I get angry about accountability. We elect MPs to represent us, but the truth is they don't represent us. I think it was Putin who said that we all know what international law is, but few people abide by it.
  7. Well said that man....

  10. We have violence in Egypt, we have sectarian violence in Iraq after our efforts there. Then there is Afghanistan.....after the deaths of UK and US soldiers amongst others it appears we want to engage with the Taliban. Then we have Israel and Palestine. I understand things aint normal in Libya either? And you suggest we go into Syria? I would be very interested in your views on our use of depleted uranium, the Israeli use of white Phosphorus on civilians....hypocracy is the word that comes to mind...not sure of the spelling.

  12. Ahh the Daily Mail that fails to mention 2 indepedent credible sources who said the opposition had possession of chemical weopons, one source worked for the UN the other was Someone in Turkey.
  13. I shall leave you uber "fans" to squabble amongst yourselves about Adkins. As for you saying that we will see how good he is ....the guy got us Saints, back to back promotions, having built on the foundations that Alan Pardew laid down. He gave me and my son (who had previously gone a whole season without seeing Saints win - he wan't allowed to watch midweek games) some fantastic footballing memories and I thanked him personally for that. I have a job to do...
  14. My wife being a Reading fan said that the footy from Reading on Saturday was the best she'd seen for a few seasons. A colleague said much the same. Also mentioned odd substitutions and that has a familiar ring to it. I also think Adkins was amongst the finest managers we have had - all too brief a period. Cortese is an assasin and if that floats your boat then great. I would have preferred Adkins staying. Whether he would be able to attract the players Poch has done we'll never know...it could be that the players are attracted by money, although I doubt that. My wife met Adkins and said how disappointed I was and still am. He has had many Saints fans say the same since he left. Should he return to Saints with Reading or another team, I hope he is applauded by all of us no matter what our views on this thread.
  15. The question was raised in good faith. The question was and is valid. Cortese/Poch gets the credit for having signed our new chap Daniel. Had there been no summer signings for whatever reason ultimately Cortese is responsible.
  16. He asked the correct question in my opinion.
  17. Presumably You would only do that once......15 seconds of fame?
  18. I let out a scream I hope my neighbours don't thinksomeone has died.
  19. Fantastic
  20. Do I have a 3rd pint?
  21. Cortese is responsible and he is a **** A couple of points really...it's a judgement call whether to buy or to promote from within.... Chambers? Isgrove? We have bought players though. Will it be enough? Who knows....can we convince elite players to join us over bigger clubs? Probably not yet. We have quality enough to aim for mid table
  22. This has made my day.......brilliant!!!!!
  23. You are a naughty boy....I must admit that I agree with your sentiment though.
