  1. laughable
  2. Better still buy a squeezebox record loads of albums, grab the remote control and listen to your heart's content. You'll want to ditch the lp12 in no time:)
  3. You have been harsh on Euell, I am not sure you know much about footy. Less harsh on Bradley ....he just hasn't been consistent within games, promised much but delivers less
  4. It must have been hard to take and hard for the big man to have to tell you. So close but so far away Colin. Best wishes
  5. I am here.....I will take the dogs out for a long walk as soon as the results are over I have Grand Funk Railroad live from 1971 blaring out in the backgrounds
  6. Your first 2 sentences are laughable/lamentable!!!!! some people........ If Crouch read ill informed comments like yours and walked away, I wouldn't blame him at all
  7. Surman is one of those players who needs better players around him than he has had. I fully expect him to flourish....this site is so unbelievably negative at times its unreal.....
  8. I will renew x 2 tickets and relocate round as close to the the players tunnel as I can get. But only if Lowe is not connected to the club. If he is back I will take a season out
  9. How about you donate your monthly wages?
  10. Col, I hope you are feeling better. I still feel numb......90 odd players in the last 4 years and I reckon another or 10 or 15 will depart at the end of the season. I'd settle for a consolidation season where we stabilise and then start to build
  11. I'm with you on this Lordswood Saint. It has been an awful season. There was a lot of anger and nowhere to direct it other than the Burnley fans and sadly the goal appeared to be attacked, it seemed to me. It might cost Saints some points next season though so not the best thing to have done.
  12. Where did this rumour come from?
  13. 1967 Morris 1100, nuff said.....
  14. Improved he definitely has...but Gillet impresses me the most
  15. I rarely comment these days, preferring to read threads instead. Um parhars is one of the most interesting and well informed posters on here. Dumb is not a word I could associate with him, Jonah As for Sundance or whoever he is now well...a different kettle of fish...I never agreed with a word he said and I am a reasonable man!!!
  16. 70's Mike, the first game I ever saw was Saints v Charlton and Saints won one nil from a Paine penalty and I thought this was in 1966. Am I thinking of a different game? I recall going to the Dell to play Man City the season we went up in 1966 or 67. It's too long ago. Great days indeed.
  17. I hope he gets a seeing to in prison, dirty b*stard
  18. Er me too I am not the bull I was
  19. Absolutely agree with your view of Liptak, he looks poor but I hope this is down to getting into the games when he has come on as sub.
  20. Latest update on the Welsh lad Just had great news. They have removed him from High Dependency and from intensive care and he is now on a general ward. All looking good ,he knows those around him and is speaking although slightly slurred. I have had the worse 5 days of my life and its the best I culd have hoped for. Thanks for your support it has been greatly appreciated, and hopefully our chats from here on will be about the football and friendships.
  21. From Gaffa..... His father just phoned he opened his eyes at 3.35 and tried pulling the tubes out. they asked him to move his toes and foot and he did. so thats all positive. I appreciate the concern of you and some of the others that have been in touch. And also the Chapel Arms they have been fantastic I dont read other boards as I did on Sunday and couldnt believe some of the comments but thats life.
  22. For a second I thought I might see something positive
  23. I chatted to a cardiff fan after the game as the poster above says - that's how it should be....I guess there's a sizable minority of trouble makers at all clubs. Sounds like 3 fans against 25 "Saints fans". This news has taken the shine off a great day for me...
  24. I agree with you. He had a good game
  25. My son and I went. He wasn't easily persuaded and I mentioned the bloke off the news who didn't have a job and advertised himeslf with sandwich boards. If you want a different outcome you need to do something different yourself My son and I are glad we did it. I don't think I am a loser etc. If enough of us gave up an hour of our time to do the same it just might make a difference
