I killed one of those in Tasmania thinking it was a nasty bugger. I regretted it when I found out it was harmless. It was big though....

Great interview, Savage was eloquent and made his points well

Wonderful.....how do people find these on Youtube?

Pleased he has signed. He has gone off the boil as an out and out winger, but he tracks back well and certainly puts himself around. I rate him and I am not sure that an out and out winger is his best position.

Happy New Year to you all COYR....

Seaford Saint replied to brianoneils slidingtackle's topic in The Saints
So its £10 for adult season ticket holders, how much for kids? -
Baj, I do the occasional bit recording myself and I just wondered where the studio you used is.

Good to see the Youtube videos.. Peter Green is playing again after years living as a recluse. I have seen him live a couple of times in the last 10 years....once as support to the amazing B B King....all I can remember is that his band and him had improved an awful lot when I saw him second time around.

FirstI have heard of it

Sad, very sad

Is that the Elton album with Shoorah and TOnight on....if it is, they are my favourite songs. Haven't heard it for years

Mott the Hoople last month....awesome. The original drummer has altseimers and was lead to the drum kit just to drum for the encore, minders stood around in case he decided to wander. Priceless. Ian Hunter was great aged 70!!!!!

I think the PM is going blind slowly but surely, his "good" eye is down to 30% - allegedly. He writes in a thick felt tip because he would not have the ability to see what he's written if he used a normal biro. I feel nothing but admiration for the PM over this. It is a balls up on his team's part by not checking what was written. The mother has raised some good points about a lack of helicopters but if we make our peace with the Taliban as is being hinted in some quarters, it will transpire that our armed forces will pretty much have died in vain.

I asked all these sorts of questions when I was in my early twenties (I have a degree in Philosophy and ancient Greek) and there is no right answer. I believed in a more or less Christian God back then - 30 years on I am still convinced there's a God but the nature of said God, supreme being whatever, .....my beliefs have changed. I don't believe in a God whose followers say is the only God that all other Gods are false etc. I do believe that there is an intelligence out there and not necessarily a personal God...... I am not a creationist either but Darwin's evolution only makes sense to me if I consider that other factors imight be involved....why do so many animals have 2 legs 5 fingers etc? Fibonacci sequences in nature I have almost finished my third glass of wine Jedward survived and my belief structure is dented.....

A fantastic idea

I can't gloat....not every Pompey fan laughed at us. Amongst the morons within both sets of fans are those who would not wish what happened/is happening to either club on the other. How else do we get to prove which club is best etc if we don't actually have 2 clubs competing? What is happening to Pompey and what almost happened to us is symptomatic of big problems within football.

Who is going to make this happen?

Sad news indeed. We all keep talking about Ron getting him across etc but can we actually get round and do something. Flowers at the funeral for a start. £50 from me towards them....another £100 from me towards anything else that some one comes up with such as getting him across here for a holiday. Well? Is anyone able to organise this? To all those on here too young to have seen him play he was fantastic. How he cheered me up al those years ago.

I really liked Camara, a goal in 3 games was it? What position did he play, he wandered about a bit
