Sad news indeed....brilliant bloke

I have yet to receive my tickets and I am disappointed. I will call the ticket office tomorrow to find out whats gone wrong. I have never had a problem with tickets or season tickets not arriving before so why now?

I agree with the above poster but I cannot understand the contrasts between some of the games we have recently played. I was at Swindon earlier when we lost 1 nil and we were truly awful.....we lost 1 nil again and we were much better.... However, some of the footy we have played has recently been superb....maybe its anxiety within the team. Who knows?

I took 3 Swindon fans to and from the game last night. They reckoned Barnard was a half a second slow on everything he did, he had a bad game....I just thought he worked tirelessly for little reward and was ****ged.

I could hardly hear anything Herbie was saying either. Its (the PA system) something that needs attention, it really does.

I thought our passing was poor tonight and we appeared a;most pedestrian at times. What I can't understand is why this should be when we have played so well against other teams recently. Did we run out of ideas?

I am mystified......we should be winning games and instead we are dropping points and yet the 5 nil against Huddersfield who were no mugs was sublime. Instead of just knocking the team or the manager, can anyone pinpoint where on the pitch it is not working? What ideas do you have for why we are inconsistent?

You have a point, its just that I had always thought of Man Us rivalry with Liverpool Leeds etc but not us.

It must be me, they go to the wall and there's no games between us. I guess we Saints fans will get over it. Some one will buy their stadium and the land around it, demolish it and build a housing estate and a Tescos. Of course there are mirky goings on at Pompey, none of the fans could do much about that could they? They enjoyed the good times and now it is the day of reckoning and the club might disappear. I would not wish that on anyone's club. I stand by what I say, there are an awful lot on this site driven by hatred, too much time on their hands etc etc....... I am probably wasting my time.

It wont be 4 1 to them next time when both teams play teams that they can afford!!!! They only won because they have players they can't afford.

In order to have a rivalry you need 2 teams. Only an idiot want to wipe them off the face of the earth IMHO. I remember how I felt - powerless whilst the money men messed our club up. This site is characterised by the rat pack mentality, essentially brainless people with too much time on their hands following the lead of others, loads of examples spring to mind, of Pardew needing to be sacked after 6 games, the team should be in the playoffs etc etc , it is all falling apart. That's not to say there aren't bright people on here.... I am glad they have gone into admin, but I would like them to come out of it. So we can resume the rivalry and take our rightful place The atmosphere was fantastic a few weeks ago when we met in the cup, who wouldn't want to have that kind of atmosphere/rivalry?

I have no doubt that Alan Pardew is giving the team the mother of all bollickings. Hopefully this will be reflected in a better 2nd half performance with 2 goals scored by us T+ = think positive, try it some time

Fitzhugh Fella who works for BA has a completely different take on things as he actually knows whats going on. Hopefully he'll have some input for those who don't agree with striking.

Niemi was a great servant to the club. I would be ashamed if he got booed.....sadly nothing surprises me with the idiots in Northam - not all Northam fans are idiots, I know, but a sizable proportion are. I remember Ricardo Fuller being booed etc. If he does play I hope he puts in a bad shift.
