Not again.....the usual protagonists on here wanting a double standard...one rule for us and another for some one else. Israel has nuclear weopons provided by the US I wonder how many of the stories on Syria or Iran etc are true and how many are planted. Are the US and the UK behind the Syrian opposition groups. Are they already on the ground in Iran? What is happening in Bahrain or Zimbabwe? That is all

From memory Labour decided they needed to do this to be electable...the more they talked of overseeing the banks the more unelectable they were (in their eyes but probably borne out by research) . Guess which party opposed regulation of the banks? Yep those lovely Tory boys.

You are incredibly ill informed.....or just a wind up merchant. You never responded to my question on your employment. Do you have a job?
-
Dune, can you clear something up for me. Do you have a job? If it is the case that you don't I would say that you are well placed. You have such an interest in politics it seems an ideal area for you to explore. Why don't you seek out a course?

I think I am a Socialist according to you....I just raised goodly amount of money of money for Chernobyl Children's Lifeline, I will host a couple of these kids and spend a fair few hundrew quid on them. I also sponsor a couple of kids in Kenya...I help out in charity events....I do whatever I can. The question is this. Should I stop doing all this so I fit the stereotype you outline. I didn't think so.

So the capitalists are pumping more money into the NHS and education....and the armed forces? No nerves have been damaged....but I would recommend you educate yourself.

You need an education mate. You still see politics in terms of left and right. Do you think rich people rather than poor people are more generous? If we are lounge lizards then you are a dinosaur

between me and the Company I pay in £620 a month.....the Company paying in £400 and me the rest. Not sure what to do really. I already have a pension of £7K and pay 40% tax on it. I think the world is going to get a lot worse...so I would like to buy silver for my fund, or gold. I have another pension due when I am 60. I am considering additional payments into my pension just get the tax I pay back....not sure what I will do. I was considering paying out another £400 a month into my fund....my wife will do something similar as well

I am not saying that William is not qualified, I am saying that he was bound to get into wherever he wanted to go. Prince Edward managed it too. Was there ever some one so unsuited to the armed forces than Prince Edward?

I am a Republican through and through as I believe in merit etc and not privilege. As I understand it "our" royal family is most German, Danish, Greek......proportionately I think I am right in saying the family is 5/16 English.......Dune can confirm. However, for so many people the Royal family even if they are foreigners are quintissentially English...and many people like Dune or my mother in law get so much out of them. It was great being in London amongst smiling people, we went to the Royal Academy. I get hacked off with those who call Kate a commoner when she is at least as good as the Royalty she has married into. The Queen was great last night, I thought. As afr as I can figure out the Royal kids have had their A levels fiddled...as they not that bright, .they walk into positions within the armed forces where merit counts for nothing for them. Yes they are good lads but I have no doubt that there were more capable candidates who made way for them. As for Harry I would like to have a DNA test to establish whether Charles is his daddy as it seems wrong to me for Harry not to get to know his real dad if his real dad is that cad whatshisname James Hewitt. The likeness between the two of them is uncanny.

I have a question on spreadsheets In my job i use on a daily basis the following excel sheets a master spreadsheet - containing amongst other things info on power costs by model, maintenance costs and I reference the following 3 other spreadsheets a power consumption by model spreadsheet a maintenance spreadsheet containing maintenance costs per model An excel spreadsheet of every asset in the company, the model number Currently i add the asset name to the master spreadsheet and manually add info from the 3 other spreadsheets below. So my question is this...would it be possible to enter into column a in my master spreadsheet an asset name which could trigger a formula to see if the asset is in the excel spreadsheet and add some data into my master spreadsheet into specific fields. If this was possible and I am sure it is, once it has populated the model another formula could interrogate the other 2 spreadsheets and add data into the same line. Currently i spend a lot of time doing this manually....occasionally making mistakes.

Well done to Pardew....a great accolade....great eye for a player, good motivator and a good businessman (price paid for players etc). I think he'd have stayed here had he had an easier Chairman to deal with (Pardew reckoned he had a difficult chairman) Would he have got back to back promotions? We'll never know.
