A referendum would reveal that. Zelensky said he sees Ukraine as the new Israel. I guess he sees some people as becoming second class citizens.

Seems to me that the country is terminally divided between those that want to be Ukranian and those that want to be Russian. Isn't that what Russia has said all along? Perhaps rather than all this death and destruction some sort of agreement to split the country would've been better?
-
The examples I saw were the eternal flame munuments to the millions of Russians who died in WW2 fighting the Nazis.

To be fair to him we haven't had that kind of centre back since the days of Fonte and VVD. Bottom half teams tend to have negative GD. One thing I liked against Burnley was he was in the refs face a lot when Burnley were time wasting.

Bednarek gets goals. All our defenders let in goals.

I miss the days of a Build Up thread, a Match thread, and then a Reaction thread. Burnley fans must be buzzing, reminds me of the feelings of Saints' great escapes. Forster to be in the top 3 players of the season this year?

I see Zelensky (estimated wealth £$500m) released criminal soldiers of the Tornado batallion back into the fray. 8 of whom were doing time for torture and rape. Charming bunch who would like to create a Christian Taliban to destroy Russia. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-ukraine-crisis-battalions-special-rep-idUSKCN0Q30YT20150729 So many examples of far right violence in Ukraine prior to the war. Azov battalion seems to be just the tip of the iceberg https://newcoldwar.org/arrests-in-ukraine-over-the-murder-of-journalist-oles-buzina/

But isn't it true that since 2014 the Ukrainian nationalists have been cracking down on Russian speaking and destroying Russian historic monumemts etc in the East of the country? (and worse of course). Another analogy would be the Welsh deciding they were the superior member of the UK and wiping out the English language where ever possible...

Also lol at you calling the Russians "communists," the last 35 years they have been more like a wild west capitalist dictatorship. I would have preferred that the conflict never happened in the first place. By the sounds of it, the Ukrainians already have kit better than the Russians. Of course they are entitled to defend themselves, just as we would if invaders attacked Southampton. I'd happily see Putin locked up in the Hague for his crimes not least to his own soldiers who, if Western propaganda is to be believed, have been fed into a meat grinder. https://i.imgur.com/Q7BLaum_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium Interesting map of languages spoken in Ukraine. I'm just interested in the years of propaganda on both sides leading up to war. I'm fully aware that any videos or links I share might become from a pro-Kremlin source but both sides are just as bad for that. http://thegrayzone.com/2021/02/20/reuters-bbc-uk-foreign-office-russian-media/ I don't regard Ukraine as "our doorstep" but some do, perhaps the results of our time in the EU despite Ukraine never being in the EU or NATO. The majority of the population speak Russian or a form of Russian. We have no cultural of historical ties to the country. Looking at all the suffering now some sort of referendum (a promise Zelensky was actually elected on in 2019) for autonomy for Donbass and Donetsk might have been a lot better? Imagine another scenario, Russia negotiating with the SNP to bring Scotland into a military alliance with the Russian federation. Russian troops and bases Inc nukes potentially being placed in Scotland. I think NATO might get quite aggressive here. Without a quick peace deal there will be years and years of misery for that country. Hopefully for them, any weapons that western corporations have sold aren't at extortionate interest rates. Thank God we haven't sold Zelensky any nukes as I think he is as likely as anyone to want to use them. Still, at least we have plenty of Chinese-made Ukrainian flags fluttering around the place. Just my rambling two pennies from happily safe Southampton.

Quite bizarre seeing someone calling me a "boy" and saying it's "not a computer game" displaying such a war boner with regular posts that drip with pleasure at all the death, destruction and exciting weaponry being deployed. PS you have the name of yank child.

Knew it wouldn't take long for you to reply. Obviously you haven't actually watched it. I mean I could posted the US government spoke person's link but they didn't release it in some handy snippet for me. And why do you keep saying media in that weird way, are you unable to pronounce it properly? Silly Blairite.
-
Lol, the US had control of Iraq in a month? That's why the country collapsed into chaos and it all spilled over into Syria and gave rise to ISIS. Go Team America!
-
I havent seen Livra do such mazy attacking dribbles as KWP.
-
Very odd for me. Keeps switching between random points of this match and the Everton/Man U match.
-
This whole season is starting to suck. What highlights have there been?

not working for me...

Exactly, the news headlines roll the story and the Chinese may or may not be affected by such accusations. In the meantime, most people believe its already happened. Manufacturing consent. And for Lighthouse and his Reuters link... The Who can't be that worried as the article says he statement was issued at a conference in Ukraine! Lol. Lets keep looking for Saddam's WMDs because our governments never lie. Happy for you to PM me. Don't be a stranger.

Sorry I'm only laughing because that's quite an ironic reply I shall try to find a link. I was just watching a pentagon guy being interviewed on American TV. It was a random twitter account and you can't share those embedded videos I think.

Only last week, the TV/Radio stations all repeated the same line over and over that Russia is considering using Chemical weapons in Ukraine and that China was supplying weapons to Russia. The US has now already admitted that both allegations were completely false and is part of their broader strategy to prevent those things occurring. Thing is, those lies are now cemented in the broader consciousness of our society.

This guy is Scottish, not Russian: https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2021/04/pure-ten-points-i-just-cant-believe-about-the-official-skripal-narrative/

Support Le Tiss on this one. He went too far with Covid. But he's right about the media, it's a manipulative bandwagon, especially when it comes to Foreign Policy.

8 matches in 24 days for the skates to try to sneak into 6th. Oh dear.

If only he could finish.

Forgot he was still at the club.
