Is that the same dickh**d BBC presenter who said that Pompey were being expertly and financially managed just before it went belly up
-
Great display wish it could have been 8

Blame the referee for not giving soft fouls in Fonte and Lovren but the defending was dreadful all game with only Shaw excused. Totally amateurish with fluffed clearances weak header and a market reluctance to put it into Row Z when required. So disappointed I will have to have a lot more to drink.

I read that we were selling everybody in some cases players going to three clubs at once
-
books in a mess - wasn't the financial director made interim CEO and remains on the Board
-
Love it

Astonishing game - sublime football -very ordinary football -good goals - shocking defending for the two we shipped (especially to Snodgrass who was being made to look very poor by Shaw) very enjoyable at the end
-
Just down to poor finishing that's all. Liverpool possess some very quick and high ability players but we outshone them for long periods but the final ball and finishing was very poor.
-
We cannot hit a barn door - lesson in finishing - two against two at the back with their pace in midfield and upfront. Suarez hung his back leg out for the peno but we would not have scored if we had played for a week.

come on QPR make my day/week/month

I have got this hockey shirt when I went to see the Oilers play the then newly formed New Jersey Devils at the Continental Arena (then part of the Meadowlands). Gretzky was immense and the Devils just managed to stay in business thanks to my support

Bad news - ****tenburg is a poor and very inconsistent referee
-
So so disappointed

I am quite concerned about this. Lallana is a possibility but Woy will go for the Manure players like bambi Welbeck and clueless Cleverley over our guys irrespective of form. Walker leave me speechless about how poor he is and so he is a certainty.

I thought it was because WHU had only put in a smallish bid (not the £7m in the press) and wanted deferred payments and so we blew it away.

I wish him well - never a Prem player but always tried his best and played well in the Championship.

Should have saved both

Post Match Reaction: Sunderland 2-2 SAINTS

How did we not win this 5 zip - very poor finishing and poor defending for both goals -
This story looks as though it has 'legs' and has just been reported on SSN. My understanding is that unlike when Markus was alive and the corporate jet arrived at Soton Airport for every game, the Liebherr family do not come to any matches and do not appear to be interested. This may have led to restrictions on funding in which case the Liebherrs may decide to sell. Mr Cortese advised in an interview that if they did sell he had backers in the wings and if that came to pass presumably he would stay as part of the deal. On a personal note, I have only met Mr Cortese once at a hotel in Norwich and he was only willing to 'acknowledge the presence of my wife and I' whereas all the other staff from manager downwards and players were overwhelmingly friendly to the few of us in the hotel for the match. He may have the personality of a brick but you cannot do anything but admire what he has achieved notwithstanding the advantage that the Liebherr funding has given us. I hope he stays even if the ownership changes. I would dread the thought of new owners without him judging by some of the dickheads around such as the village idiot in Cardiff as an example. Owners who leave their brains in the car park are not what we need - we have already had our fair share. Very disappointed and worried.

Jermaine Wright legend - leg en more like one of the worst players ever at SFC the only one worse being Makin
-
Is this thread dead now
-
I am still in shock about how awful the defending is including Kelvin Davis although he pulled off a point blank save to partially redeem himself. Posters have been sying on the forum that Hooiveldt and Yoshida are only Championship defenders - another myth dispelled then. Good goals though and entertaining.
-
Garbage but Fox Hooiveldt and Gazzaniga were appalling. Very disappointing against a poor Spurs side

Savage suggests Moyes should buy a load of Southampton players.....
LostBoys replied to petermcpete's topic in The Saints
This is a thread in one of the very good Manure fanzines which stated 12 players they should buy and five were SFC - Shaw Clyne Lovren Schneiderlin Lalanna
