I would like to wish everyone on the forum a happy Xmas and a prosperous new year - even sumdunce beast and numpty canteen. How is that for Xmas spirit. Before you enquire I am sober as I pass on my best wishes to everyone.

Very pleased with the message. A nice after the way the last lot treated us like dirt

The fact that Leeds and Norwich are higher is still an embarassment. We should be at 25k and higher
-
I agree - I would be happier if crowds were 25k or higher - that is the best way to thank him
-
You should bear in mind that the Wirral is not the most affluent part of the UK and travelling to the South just before Xmas not good timing. I thought they made a lot of noise for the few numbers and considering they were getting dicked all over the park in the second half. I thought their right back was excellent.
-
James 6 - Always a threat going forward James 4 - always a liability when defending or trying to still Murty will be back shortly
-
I thought both Harding and James were awful today amongst the rest of the poor performances.
-
I was on the dry side - great night - refused entry by all the empty pubs on the main road - no bar at the away end - three great goals - dry side and wet side chanting and then cheerio you fat barsteward when he gave us a V sign - an hour to get to the M32 for no reason - must do it again for the league game. dry side wimp

I cannot believe that Reading will let us keep him on showings like I saw last night. I expect they will offer us Rasiak back -
I worked there for 15 years but fortunately during that time we were in the Preniership and they were not. They have had a good laugh at our expense recently but quite a few have realised that they are screwed and £96 million was a lot of money to spend with borrowed money without getting a stadium out of it only a cup for a year. We will be playing them next season
-
We should win this easily and so I will go 4 nil if we have Hammond and Connolly
-
I have to say that I thought Powell had a reasonable game yesterday - I though he looked a lot lighter than when he was with us and far more mobile
-
His problems are he has no pace and he stands off his player far too much which means he rarely tackles and this is not a great scenario for a full back. You should compare him with his opposite number at left back. He did have a good game going forward yesterday so no complaints.

Who cares what the t##t thinks - they were crap and were lucky not to get hammered.
-
I thought it was a cracking game and MK dons were lucky not to have a real thumping. At times the football was terrific and the Schneiderlin crossfield pass which led to our first goal was exquisite.

Close all threads with Lowe in the tile! (except this)

I predicted a 3 to 1 win in a show of bravado and probably not a 100% belief. Sounded good on the radio and they said Schneiderlin had a good game except for his miss.
-
I met him at a academy game a few years ago and he is about 5'6" to 5'7" based on my 5'9" - I did not measure him. I think he is a better prospect than Dire and does not have the attitude problem and is not a convicted tea leaf
-
I think we all wish him the best of luck as he will find a good set up left by Waddock but no money. He will need to do a bit better than he did while in temporary charge with SFC

Tilson (their manager) -Saints contention for play offs

I remain very confident. I have seen all games this season except last night and Huddersfield and we could have/should have won all of the ones I have watched based on missed chances and poor defending including Bristol Rovers. I think we will go on a run now where our automatic or play off chances will only be decided whether we beat all of the teams at the top - as normal. -
Sounded good on the radio even with 'happy' Merrington. well done to all travelling fans in the rain.
-
He was a rising star until he was injured. I hope this is the start of his comeback.
-
Could be good if he stays fit. As posted earlier if we can get Voltz on a free as well and another midfielder we are in good shape for promotion this year.

I see Scotty Bevan is the Torquay goalkeeper for tonight. He comes from Southampton and I remember refereeing a Hampshire Cup game when he played for Winsor at under 11 level. He had a terrible day that day against Waterlooville but not through letting any goals in as Winsor won 6 nil but because he kept hitting his head on the crossbar. He was well over 6 foot at age 10 and the school goal was not regulation size. His father ended up behind the goal telling to him to keep moving off his line to avoid any permanent damage.
