A fair number on their web site are saying they are pleased if that was their last game - it wont be I think they have got 2 more
-
I thought this was an unmentionable one thread - its ruined my afternoon
-
Back to KD - he is the best keeper in League 1 but I thought he should have saved a couple of the goals - his main fault now is that he goes down for the shot a little too early.
-
In terms of his shooting and heading abilities I am afraid they do not match the rest of his play. It was posted on here some days ago that his chance conversion rate is about 1 in 10.
-
I have to say they were outmanoevred totally yesterday 'paye up Pompey' and 'harrys got you money' saw to that. If you read the saner Pompey web sites a lot of them are posting that the end is near.

He did not have a good game yesterday.
-
He worked very hard and got into some great positions. Unfortunately all the chances fell to him and he fluffed the lot - anyone can be a great keeper if you keep kicking the ball at him. He should look at the game video and then practice actually kicking a ball properly.
-
Wrong look and shape to the side - another cheap goal conceded - another two points lost against low level opposition - playoffs looking very difficult now

On a day when it was reported that Avram Grant was visiting a brothel..... slight difference in clss I would say

In my accounts (for 2 season Tickets) it worked on 1 and I bought my seat but it would not appear on the other - cue unanswered phone calls then the seat appeared on the second account. Never mind.
-
I wanted to go but tried to get them online - every time I clicked 'buy tickets' it told me they were sold out - bit disappointed as I have never been inside St James Park

Saints V Stockport County - Post Match Reaction
LostBoys replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
Grim stuff until Waigo came on but I will happily take the points as some of those above us dropped them -
I thought Jaidi and Thomas were superb today absolutely awesome

Are you talking about Sharon
-
There are no Pompey fans in Romsey apart from one of my neighbours and he refuses to talk to anyone. What pub are you talking about?
-
It has been picked up on a Coventry unofficial website but only a repeat of the Sky report

You have to compare the ludicrous appointment of JP to that of Billy Davis at Notts Forest - a possibility that was widely derided on this forum at the time. I see Notts Forest are second in the Chumpionship with a very young side including some SFC rejects. I also think Wotte is a good coach but handed the poisoned chalice afterthe JP debacle.

I heard Storrie on BBC radio was was completely astonished. He was talking about taking out more loans for wages and other costs and admitted that the cluib balance sheet was £90m in the red. This has got to be trading while insolvent. How long is the Premier League and FA going to allow this to go on. The fire sale of players is only going to keep the thing going for a month or so as they will not receive the TV money as it has to go to the clubs they owe for players. I read in L'Equipe in France that Lens have asked FIFA/UEFA to step in for the money they are owed and we know how much they love the Prem League.

Some very poor performances today

Two new year resolutions required on your part 1. Get a sense of humour transplant 2. Research your idols current company performance in the sector to assess the viewpoint of his shareholders - I recommend Hemscott I had my opportunity to let Mr Lowe have the benefit of my wisdom at a reserve match last season. This was the only one he attended that I am aware of but I suspected he might be there to plead for his job as I had been tipped off that the Administrator would be there also. Regretably there is no bar at Staplewood or I would have pre-empted the shareholder.

I did hear story from a friend of mine, a Leeds supporter, that a colleague of his was in a well known City restaurant where Lowe was entertaining and a man threw a pint of beer over him. The man was ejected but my friends colleague (who did not know who Lowe was at trhe time) asked what the fracas was about. What we would like to hear is that it was a Saints supporter but it appears that is was a seriously disgruntled shareholder from the poorly performing company that Lowe is chairman of. Well you can't win them all.
