I am not sure what the true story is behind this but I do not think it relects well on anyone. I was not totally happy at Pardew's sacking but no one cares what my opinion is and I do not have any publicity clout and we move on. Matt Le Tissier was not happy with Pardews's sacking and is widely quoted in the papers - fine - but then he appears to want favours from the club. I was not very happy when, at the request of the clueless administrator, Matt agreed to become part of the Pinnacle bid and publicised it but failed to check if they had any money. The Pinnacle fiasco could have led to the club going out of existence but I do not blame MLT only the other jokers. I think Matt should always be part of Southampton FC in some guise and I welcome the day when that happens but I suggest he stops having a pop at the present owners who have ensured we do actually still have a Southampton FC.

Good news - Lallana Chaplow Guly and according to Adkins one or two others - I must be turning into a happy clappy

I think he is a player with great potential and the same applies to Martin.

Trouble was he was allowed to bring in his 'mates' at ridiculous wages who all woefully underperformed - you know who I mean I am not surprised that he has been sacked from Palace a no win situation even if you are any good

I am getting a little tired of posters slagging off players. I think we can accept with Guly that there are a lot of things about his game that need improving but he works his butt off making opportunities for other players and now he has scored 2 and should have had 4 goals and with assists. In terms of scoring compared with chances the worst offender is Lallana but no-one has a go at him. There is no doubt we have had some disappointingly poor players in recent years (there is a long list) but I do not think Guly is one of them.

Lets start a 'Bring back Mike Osman' campaign

While we are the best supported in the league, I think the crowds at SMS are still disappointing. I realise we have 'lost' the Premiership hospitality element but we should be top 20's with the recent performances (excluding Brentford)
