  1. I think that was when Hammond had three men on in front of him against three defenders and turned and passed it back to Butterfield who gave it back to Davis. The only other major moan when Forte got the ball in the clear - the excitement exploded and then fell when they realised it was Forte and collapsed when he made the expected hash of it.
  2. I am going to slit my wrists - we only won 2 nil simply not good enough
  3. How can we expect to win it - were we not 2 zip and 4 2 up and then blow it.
  4. Well done Michael - I hope it goes well
  5. Looking at it statistically without sltting wrists over Walsall - if we win all the head to head games third possibly second but not first unless Brighton blow up completely - if we lose them all and continue to screw up against the lower league teams sixth and possibly seventh if Charlton or some of the others do not lose many games. Try it on BBC predictor but on a reasoned basis i.e. the higher teams beat the lower (except us) and draw with each other etc
  6. I would get very excited about beating Walsall - I wish I could have. What is not beginniing to upset me are the poor performances against the worst teams in this division and certain players in particular.
  7. The notice about the administration was to avoid going straight into liquidation - which is probably going to happen anyway according to the local papers/forums in Plymouth. An interesting financial adviser noted in the legal papers by the way - some guy called David Jones.
  8. Can someone post how we conceded another crap goal as I lost the Solent transmission - I think they said a ball over the top into the left back channel and Davis was lobbed. Perhaps someone who was there could advise.
  9. This is ridiculous.
  10. Its all relative - we lost and everyone else who played won except Charlton. Someone posted earlier that all of our opposition got points at Walsall. This is not going to get us promoted automatically. Some of the players could not hit a barn door tonight. Just not good enough. I personally am not going to slit my wrists but we cannot afford too many more of these results. Any confidence for Colchester away?
  11. I do not rate either of Harding or Dickson. Also I was knocked out by a richochet (No Irish jokes please) when the ball was wellied at a free kick hit the guy in the wall next to me on his foot and then hit me on the side of my temple. I was 'seeing stars'for 10 minutes. Hilarious and I went back on and played and we lost to what is now Bournemouth Poppies.
  12. He missed a peno and Charlton lost 1 nil.
  13. I see we are of to a good start with Danny Seaborne saying we will be in the top 2. I am all for this from the players but his performance at Peterborough should ensure he keeps it zipped until he shows a run of form.
  14. Fair play to the supporters who made the trip. It sounded terrible on the radio - also Adkins was saying on another day Lallana could have had a hat trick - not apparent from the radio commentary?
  15. Sounded total crap on the radio - we could not pick out a pass nor hit a barn door. Just not good enough.
  16. I cracked up when I saw the Pulis and Forecast shirts I even changed my avatar - for a while at least
  17. Serves them right for the Aviva 'green army' advert actually I was hoping to do that awayday
  18. Decorating and without being able to listen on the radio. Pretty sad eh?
  19. My only comments are that I do not believe anything in the Daily Mail similar to many other millions of potential readers and I am happy to wait for the court transcript being reported.
  20. I am not sure what you are on about and I put it down to being posted at 0138 hours after I hope a Friday night out but if you feel so strongly about his why don't you just go forth and disappear from the forum?
  21. what an embarassment to Bornemouth this guy is
  22. No we are a happy bunch - all the miserable b......ds have left the forum after slitting their wrists
  23. Although I was taken to the Dell aged three I played football for 25 years before becoming a ST holder and the one thing that it teaches you is that you have to stick together. I cannot understand booing your own players or cheering when they are subbed. We have had some real w.....rs playing or rather not playing for us in recent years (Wright and Makin were my favourites) but the treatment of N'Guessan yesterday when he was total crap but after Exeter when he was apparently good is totally unacceptable and I cannot see how it supports the team.
  24. I had not realised these events were actually on until this came up this week in the Mail and then brainlessly carried by the hapless Echo until their partial retraction with this story. Nothing new there then. Can somebody tell me who is running these events and it is for charity or a for profit activity.
