That was my favourite - fair play to them - I was sorry they went down as I watched them a few times (they had a different name) when I worked in Barking in the 80's

The "Big" News - free "All Star" match on Sunday: K.O 3pm
LostBoys replied to benjii's topic in The Saints
I am disappointed with the timing just after the game on saturday and the very short notice as i am going to find it difficult to get there on Sunday. -
I do not like the Connolly one and he was outstanding yesterday. I do not like the arrogant 'we do what we want' either The funniest one was the usual 'southerners' erm Plymouth are more southerly than Southampton

Huddersfield appreciation/respect thread
LostBoys replied to southbourne saint's topic in The Saints
I think Huddersfield will go up through the play offs. I would be teed off if we got to that number of points and then were not promoted. -
great day out in Plymouth
-
you are a sad act are you the bbc commentator in disguise - if we win against Plymouth we are promoted apart from a monemuental disaster at the wasall game will we see you there ? I think not somehow
-
Well done to all the lads and supporters who made the trip. I could not get Brentford tickets but we set off for Plymouth tomorrow. WHU. No downer about Huddersfield but the twit on the BBC really wound me up about not being promoted on Monday if we win. He clearly thought Huddersfield had two more games and when DM advised him that they did not he kept trying to say we would lose it if our goal diffferences merged by 15 goals - we know that t****r Oh and 10 points on the prediction league
-
Fonte - did we only pay £1.2m for him
-
Very pleased I though we played well - a couple of dodgy offside decisions and being a bit over complex in the box and it could have been a rout.
-
No excuse not to go now for anyone. I cannot wait and although I could not get a ticket for Brentford I am going to Plymouth whu

I am getting a little tired of this imagined emnity. They were crap at St Marys and we beat them today but they have been far more consistent than us and have won the league comfortably with only an average squad. Well done and good luck to them and I hope they give us more tickets for the away game in their new stadium next season.

I was always told in football never take the **** out of the opposition it will always come back to bite you. Well done lads my nerves are shot away but I will recover for Monday
-
I have to say that this is one of the best shirts I have ever seen

My night at the PFA Awards with Davis, Lallana, Harding & Fonte
LostBoys replied to saint peach's topic in The Saints
Thanks for posting - very interesting -
Not too sure this would have been my team and Davis and Harding would be nowhere near but it is voted for by their fellow professionals and so who cares what I think. I am not surprised at BHA as theirs is a poor squad who have done fantastically well but I am surprised at Huddersfield.

Saints 1 V 0 Bristol Rovers, post match sighs of relief..
LostBoys replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Very poor passing and finishing in parts but hey ho three points are all that we will remember -
I hope it is not too serious we cannot afford to lose him.
-
Very disappointed but I do have tickets for Plymouth
-
Congratulations to Brighton. They have been a model of consistency all season - an average squad very well coached playing to their strengths. No I am not going to compare them with the other team in the top 2.

Rochdale 2 - 0 Southampton - Post Match Reaction
LostBoys replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
I have just seen the goals we conceded on Sky Sports News. I am not blaming our Kelv for the entire dreadful performance and some of you reported that he saved a one on one but the ones he let in could have been saved by a parks keepe. We just cannot afford this level of mistake. -
Rochdale 2 - 0 Southampton - Post Match Reaction
LostBoys replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
Very disappointed particularly for the guys makig the trip to Rochdale - they deserve better. Very worried about the chants from their supporters calling Davis 'dodgy keeper' were their goals that bad. We really needed a win - and even worse no prediction league points. We need to come back with a bang on Saturday. -
I think we will beat them easily at their place but by then they will already be promoted. They have been a model of consistency and I cannot see them slipping up and this is a remarkable achievement for a barely average squad. Fair play to them and their manager.
-
And I nearly forgot another 10 points in the prediction league
-
Well done the lads - easily a game we could have lost and well done to the 3,500 sounded immense on the radio - I wish I could have been there.
