This programme was bad enugh last season with that dopey girl from BBC South but continues to nosedive even without her. It has to have even coverage but after loving up to ex England managers and extending sympathy to Mr Jewell (is Claridge after his job?) there is no room for anyone else. No matter Saints keep on winning and as the lead at the top extends they will have to give us a mention.

I am worried that his current form will encourage a bid from a good prem club. As with Alex it is not so much what the club can do to encourage a pltr to stay these deals offer financial security for life. You never know what injuries are round the corner and while there is the PFA insurance I believe that the compensation is based on the contract terms when you can no longer play any more and the players age.

I would suggest a technical knockout in favour of Mr Cortese. As regards Arsene I think the wheels are coming off (the bus) for him this season. If they lose Fabregas and Nasri and do not strengthen their defence they will end up mid table and the tin tack

I cannot blame him for going - financial security for life at 18 is fantastic. If we have got £15m in total then it is a fantastic deal for SFC and a poor one for Arsenal.
