Summary of Nigel's Post-Match interview after Leeds
LostBoys replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
In terms of Nigel, I think that a poor peformance (forget the result for the minute) will see him sacked. I think this will be a sad day for the club but bottom at Xmas when the fixtures have evened out normally means one thing. -
Summary of Nigel's Post-Match interview after Leeds
LostBoys replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
First of all I take my hat off to the fans who went. All I could hear on the radio was us - very much like West Ham where we carried on cheering to the end. I could only listen on the radio and missed the first 15 minutes thanks to the M3 but I think last night just taught us what we already suspected - that some of the youngsters are not ready yet and some of the squad players are not good enough even at Championship level. You cannot judge on one performance but some of them have had quite a few. -
It wasn't me but I did threaten a guy who tried to avoid using the aisles and climb over the seats and kicked my wife in the process. Next time he wll be doing it with only one leg working but there won't be a next time. I like where I sit but like everywhere else there are a few knobs as Saints supporters. This does not count as a 'divided house' as I only threatened him and the game was over.

2 more soft goals and it could have been more. Better second half and we missed a number of chances combined with some outstanding defending.
-
It shut them all up thats for sure
-
there would be Branfoot levels of uproar
-
And more crap from the Echo this morning - the club will not back Nigel but the fans support him with a few posters airing their views.

Harry Redknapp to be named manager within 3 weeks
LostBoys replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Its ******** - why three weeks Harry boy is unemployed and could start tomorrow. The missing word is bo**ox -
After the crap the Echo has published and continues to publish, I would not talk to them either. Some years ago, I gave them a prepared statement on a local business issue (not football or football related in any way) and the garbage they published convinced me never to do it again. They are simply feeding off the syndicated scraps and embellishing them to make a non story.
-
Adkins future and a wall of silence and Harry Redcrap leading the betting to be the next manager. No I do not buy the rag and believe nothing by Adam Leitch but I need the local headlines online for my business.
-
I was even with the debacle of the 4th goal at West Ham
-
They were never good enough for the Prem but they were not replaced with quality and we were not as ruthless elsewhere and we are now being found out.

Anyone else reminded of Poortvliets reign..?
LostBoys replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
No comparison -
This has just been made up and always appears after a team has a bad defeat. I do accept however that some of the bizarre team selections and substitutions cannot improve matters.
-
I cannot see him leaving London for us and QPR could not agree his wages in the summer apparently

At what point on this forum do we think we have a problem
LostBoys replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
To answer the thread title - at 1645 last Saturday. My coach back from West Ham was as quiet as the grave. -
I would really like Nigel to stay and do well but I think he has run out of time either this week or after another poor performance against Spurs. If I had to make a prediction about another manager I think it will be Benitez.
-
I doubt he would come if the rumour of a couple of years ago at Rownhams services are true
-
what is he doing now
-
Dreadful second half against a mediocre team
-
Clearly if we continue at this level and ship 4 goals against a mediocre West Ham side we will remain in the bottom three. An unwelcome record.
-
The only thing to come out of this thread is that the Club seriously underestimated the standard of defender you now need in the Prem. I am happy with Clyne but you will get mistakes from him but we need two more quality players and I do not know where we are going to get them from until January.
-
He is definately not a full back. He also missed a header and had a couple of poor shots and I do not remember a decent cross either. I have left the mistakes as the whole defence/midfield were culpable
-
I am note sure this is helpful although I am pleased with the result. I think Adkins is already doomed but I do not know if it will be this week or after the game against a Spurs side who are a different proposition to the mediocre West Ham outfit.
