I have to say I could not stand Gary Neville as a player and when he went to Sky I thought he would be the same as the other Redknapp. He is brilliant and coupled with David Moyes it was the best review I have ever seen and not just because it was about us. Neville is destroying MOTD and the clowns on there and even that t**t Kamara is beginning to talk sense and not give advice to people like Sir Alex.

I do not expect them to get every decision right and I would not agree even if they got them right but you have to get the obvious ones correct and be consistent. there is no doubt in my mind that if Hooiveldt had done the same to Dzecko and Aguero it would have been a peno. He did have a better second half than the dreadful first half.

I think both Hooiveld amnd Yoshida are way out of theior depth based on their recent performances. If anything sends us down this season it will be amateurish defending mistakes.

Its an Ok interview where Mr Cortese said exectly what you would expect him to say having sacked Adkins and brought in Pochettino - medium term plan to get to top 6 - time to make a change etc. I have to say I am getting very tired of this feud with MLT though. I was involved with two interested parties looking to buy the Club while in Admin but both withdrew very early on as they did not have sufficient funds to do it. My recollection was that MLT was asked by the Administrator to front up the jokers with NO money (as opposed to not having enough) and he agreed to do so but failed to ask for proof of funds. I am sure that MLT agreed to become involved in order to help save the Club and made an obvious mistake or was poorly advised - ok end of story and time to move on as he has to side with the current owners as we all do. I think Mr Cortese has made a series of PR gaffes, communicates poorly or not at all and is too distant from the fanbase as a result. However he represents the owners and has to be judged on his decisions. If we reach mid table security the change of manager will be seen as a prudent move if we get relegated he will be blamed.

Well I would recognise him and I am a Dell Supporters Club member. Unfortunately this season it was made Members only with no guests signed in or otherwise. The stewards on the door are a warm friendly bunch and the Club is not busy after the game and so I am surprised they did not allow him in. We do not have current or ex players in the Club before the game or a host with the quiz or even the team advised. It is a different proposition to the one in the Archers Road.

Bit late on this one. While NC is answerable to the Liebherr family trust or however the ultimate SFC investment is held if the family are disinterested then he is answerable to no-one. I do not know if any of the family come to matches anymore but if this is the case then he can act and do as he pleases. I think some wrote something along the lines - power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is not a mindless rant about comparing him to a historical dictator but there do not appear to be any checks and balances on decisions at the club. There have been other wierd decisions like taking the chairs and tables out of hospitality and the Dell Supporters Club. Not as serious as sacking Nigel but bizarre nonetheless. It has been pointed out to me that there weren't any checks or balances either with the idiot Lowe most of the time where even with a listed company the rest of the Board were just spineless chimpanzees and would not stand up to the arrogant fool. I mean who asks another director to go to Marchwood to spy on Strachan training the team who then falls out of the bush. You could not make it up.

I will be happy to join a chant for Nigel Adkins but I am not prepared to jeer the club, team or Cortese. If I ever have the chance to meet Mr Cortese face to face I would be delighted to share a few thoughts with him as I was lucky enough to do with Rupert Lowe.

I am totally lost for words. I rubbishd the Mirror last night and they were 100% correct. This brings SFC into Chelsea and Blackburn territory in terms of adverse PR I do not know what to say. This will either be a great success or a disaster this season and I only put our chances of survival at 50% and was more upbeat after Chelsea.
