Agreed, potentially great but has been lacking in "grit" Interesting to see if Wottes motivational techniques can get more out of him.
-
It can be mis-interpreted in many ways
-
Shame its not the start of the season now
-
What was also amazing, as if the save wasnt enough, was that in the next move upfield we passed it around in a series of one touch moves that ended up with Euell having a blast from about 30 yds. Unfortunately it was straight at the keeper; if it had gone in it would have been a goal of the season contender. Straight after the Kelv save, when everyone around me was still giving him a standing ovation, it was a jaw dropping minute or so of football

For me it was 100% penalty. If Saga had just fallen down I think it would have been given but the theatrical way in which he threw his arms up and crashed to the ground made it look too much like a dive - he didnt need to do that

Pele and Banks all over again - amazin
-
Size was awesome, only one mistake all match, which turned out to be OK. Gillet won an awful lot of ball in the middle. Once again Jason up front put in a great effort, but... what about that save from Kelv first half - it was Pele / Banks stuff!!

Lets hope he whiffed it off the Saints Web Forum - then we can relax

Well we just don't know do we? Statistically, but also very improbably, we might only need 3 more points and a string of very lucky losses by Charlton, Forest and Norwich. But I wouldn't bet on that so its basically every point we can get. I guess Blackpool, Charlton, Watford and Forest are the real big ones. Cardiff are a better team than Preston and another Saints win would be a huge psychological boost - but it is possible... I think

This is a Saints forum - we don't do perspective
-
If its touch and go whether he makes it back for a couple of games he would be better off just getting 100% for next season, not taking the risk of a further setback.
-
I think it was more the latter - Gordon was hoping that some of our success would reflect well on himself - basking in reflected glory and all that
-
Sounds distinctly genital

Just think what the Preston boys must be thinking - they arrive at St Marys in a play off position to play a team thats only won once at home all season, five months ago - to lowly Norwich. Probably wont need to break into a sweat. 45 mins into the game and its 3-0, game over, the double. How embarrassing. One other thought, just imagine, just for a few seconds - two wins in a row. If we did it, just imagine what that would feel like. No, I know, you've forgotten.
-
wierd isn't it - winning at home, bonkers. Do you think this is what normal clubs do? I'm looking forward to the reports from those who were there.

Could do with a Saints corner now weve got Lurpak on

Sadly I think you're right - it does look extremely lightweight.

I dont think I'd want to watch that

subversive stuff - you cant come on here posting positive stuff like that - it must be against some rules

I usually look at it first, then see the same headline copied on the forum. This is very thoughtful because not everyone must be able to access other internet sites.
-
If you don't think its worth reading why add it to this site?
-
But you could say the same about everyone else, including everyone who posts one here - the current incumbents remain. Its probably just a case of them not having money to throw down the drain, like the rest of us

Its nice for him to be playing and scoring in a winning team, good for his confidence and development
