At which point the guy threw himself to the ground and forward a couple of yards - they must have a specialist coach for diving lessons. The niggly, body checking, time wasting, gamesmanship from last night is one of my lasting memories of the Brighton boys. Whilst I'd like to see another south coast team go up in second place I'm not sure i'd like to see those tactics rewarded with promotion.

Just back. We didn't do much wrong really, and a lot of really good stuff. I'm not too disheartened. Brighton definitely came to slow the game right down and were quite a niggly, dirty team I thought. They could also be quite composed at times playing from the back - - oh, and lucky! If the game was won on points we would have walked it, but as it turned out we were grateful to Kelv for keeping us in it, funny old game, but lots of positives.

I don't think NA is doing much wrong. He was a hero before the match with 6 wins from 7 then, as usual after one loss, its recrimination time and sack the manager. I think his tactics and selections were fine - he's probably learning a lot now about which members of the team he can rely on to execute his plans. Some are up to it, in terms of technical ability, intelligence and attitude - and some are not. His job is to replace the ineffective, and gel the rest into a unit, and I'm sure that will happen over time.
