This Summer provides a whole host of meltdown opportunities. I'm going to have to pace myself. I think I'll wait until the manager announcement from Saints before I really go for it, I just don't have the energy for 100% effort for every suggested rumour of a possibility. Good to see some of you younger ones have though

4 non blondes - "Whats going on"

Maybe... "You signed MoPo, we signed Ronnie Koeman, Ronnie Koeman..." (might be dependent on league position / score)

What a true gent SRL was over his exit. I wonder if Adam will pen an open letter to the Saints fans?

The best thing the Board can do right now is.......

Maybe they are doing this? ...crazy idea etc... As far as we know we have one player about to go. One who is now 32 yrs old. I'm not sure that constitutes an exodus yet. It will be good to look back when we start the season and see how this has all panned out. In the meantime we will be very lucky to get 2+2 even equalling 5 on this forum -
We reached that point a long time ago - you have to accept that for all players and managers its just a job / project ...they aren't going to have the passion and dedication that fans have despite all the badge kissing stuff and thumping of chests. They are upwardly mobile - just think about us going to pick up players like Clyne, Wanyama, Lovren etc - they all let down their sides at the time to join us. btw SRL will always be a hero for us, and we should never forget it. Imagine you are a Saints fan and play footy as a professional. You get rejected by Saints in the early years, work your way around the lower leagues, spend your finest years dragging some team like Hull up through the leagues to the EPL - then Saints come back and ask if you'd like to play for them for your last season in the EPL!

Hopefully our academy will have produced a few world class players by 2359, if man is still alive, if woman can survive..
-
Agreed - and well said He will be missed of course for what he has done for Saints, before we even knew we were a project with a product. He has been a legend for us and owes us nothing. I'm glad the club aren't standing in his way and wish him all the luck in the world - stuff of dreams for him and he deserves it.

I can just see Zidane and Osvaldo going head to head
-
What? ...he's gone? didn't see that coming
-
No, but in other news I hear that a 10-10 result for the Nigeria v Scotland game has drifted out to evens

McClaren - Director of football, PR, press relation, youth development, academy Yakin - first team coach you heard it here first (I made it all up, like most of the stuff here on the forum....some logic though)

as opposed to their "bet of the day" on the same page

FDN is the one source I don't even bother looking at these days (Mail and Mirror are almost there) - its just consistently coming up with lots completely made up articles that they think people will click on, so they get another 0.0001p or whatever from the advertisers.

Its a close run thing between the Mirror, Mail and Football Direct News in the race to the bottom

Cortese speaking to BBC for first time since leaving Saints

He doesn't have to...next he'll be posting on here claiming he's ITK -
Has since gone underground
-
I could live with all of that tbf. The last line is the worst, but realistically - the world would go on
-
Thats always annoyed me, but being realistic I think thats just how it is these days - maybe 2-3 years to manage a project and then move on. It grates with us as fans because, for most of us, we see our passion and dedication to our club as unshakable - for others, managers and players, its just a job
-
I'm still chuckling at the one about the club chaplain predicting a mass exodus...very good
-
They have about the same grasp of English

Fully agree....except the bit about us getting 2
