Novelty wore off long time ago. Fine as a spontaneous reaction when your favourite choon comes on, or a goal celebration because you've over indulged pre match, but he was doing it in the Car Park after the game on Tues so that people could film it on their phones Presume he was the target of of the "You Fat Barsteward" chants from the City fans, which was just about the only time they sang!!

I'd hazard a guess tat The City team will be licking their lips at the thought of hitting 10 past us if we perform like we did on Fri. Leicester players have admitted that they knew the chance of the hightest top tier victory was in their sights from about 6-0 and fancied their chances. I bet they couldn't believe their luck from the off when we named a team with only 1 up front and 5 at the back to try and stop their counter attacks. We should have set a formation which meant they were being pushed back and kept back rather than invite them to charge towards us unchallenged. Ok the sending off unsettled us, but Spurs going down to 10 and even Brighton down to 10 didnt fare too badly against us!! The inevitable early goal would more than likely see us crumble and City's players going for the jugular. Hoping beyond hope we put in a decent shift and give City a proper game and something for us fans to cheer.

I'm going to both matches, living oop north now. Prior to last night I was optimistic of keeping the aggregate score from the 2 games down to single figures at a push' .... now I'm worried both could go into double figures!! Just watched MOTD and they highlighted just how impressive City's approach play down their left is .... gulp! Villa put up a good fight but City still had 25 attempts on goal. I think plenty of pre match beer to cushion the pain is my only hope, and maybe an abacus to keep tally of the scores!! A Long and Boufal inspired victory in the Cup and a respectable 0-3 loss in the league as it is a free hit would suit me .... at least I've only got a short distance to get home!!

.... you need to have a check on the sort of fees Scottish Teams, even the very top ones pay!! Their record fee is under 10 million for Edouard last year. Up till then it was 6 million each for John Harton and Chris Sutton way back when, despite all the money we pumped into them with our prchases of Forster, Wanyama, VVD and Armstrong. The could give us a good run for the Net Spend Champions title!! So 12 mill for Mo isn't likely, doubt they'd shell out that for CR7

I still hold a huge grudge against Brenda from his days at Liverpool!! It would be devastating to see his smug boatrace on Sky if they were to win. This is going to be a tough game and Leicester seem to have refound their mojo after the dour Puel Days, and must start as favourites. We need to get our home form going, even a lucky rebound off somebodys backside will do, lets just get a win!! Then a surprise Cup Win at City, and all will be smiles till they hit us for 6 in the league game a few days later ... but that one is a free hit!!

Difficult to get everybody singing at the same time due to the long but not very deep side of the ground. I too was in the corner and when you looked down to the other end you could see that pockets of fans were singing and clapping but you could barely hear what song it was, so couldn't join in.

Absolutely this .... I'm normally the last person to call for this move... but today it was the only option of any use. We were winning, run down the clock. nobody in support. As culpable as Stephens maybe harsh .... but another 30 seconds would have seen us win!!

I'd be interested to see what % of our Loan Out players salaries we are still paying. We could still end up having Cedric and Hoedt back on our books if the clubs don't take up the buy option, and in Cedrics case only a season left on his contract meaning nobody will offer face value knowing we'd probably cut our losses on him leaving as a free agent at the end of the season. That one should definitely have been a straight transfer deal, or keep him. I'm guessing Classie, Boufal and .... er ...ha ha can't even remember his name (the non goal scoring C/F now in Spain with MoPe ) are just on season loans and are we still paying towards Davis at Rangers? Unless there are BIG savings we may have been better off keeping one or two to cover injuries rather than pay for them to play elsewhere!!

Each game he seems to make crucial point saving clearances or tackles. Just off the top of my head ... Arsenal amazing tackle from nowhere as player on 6 yard about to have an easy tap in. Leicester .... mind boggling goal line clearance from Leicester centre half. Everton flying sliding block as Everton carved us open at 0-0 to block shot for a corner. Oh and that composed mazy run out of defence and dink to set up Ings on a break .... a bit like 'Silky" Claus.

Absofrigginlutely!! It was getting to be a chore rather than a pleasure to drag my sorry ar5e out to the bar to watch a display of out and out mediocrity interspersed with a few moments of hope, only to be crushed by stunning displays of individual crapness to deny us a win or draw. These individual errors probably saved Hughes his job a few times, after all how can you blame the manager when it's an individual error? Well I think that Ralph has shown, that by instilling more rigorous levels of physical fitness, mental fitness and reactions improve as well. Oh!! ...... and having a game plan which the players can understand and buy into, and encouraging positive speedy breakaways when we gain possession, rather than the plodding pedantic safety passing, which ends up with keeper aimlessly punting it upfield and possession lost, employed by the last 3 (Hughes not quite as guilty as the other 2) .....does help as well. Gutted that we have to wait so long till next game ..... but excited at the thought of what the team might be capable, of with an uninterrupted period of Masterclass Conditioning and Tactics under Ralph and his team. #We'vegotourteamback

Yep he was always looking to make himself available on the overlap when we got possession. Gaining valuable experience, improving with each game, and even the sending off which luckily didn't cost us any points will hopefully prove to be a major learning point.
