just back from the game...awesome performance against a spirited Arsenal who wanted the result. My MoM is Steven Davis. We controlled the game thanks to the dominance in the middle of the park and he was at the heart of everything good. So composed and assured. Close runner up was Clyne...so solid and a valuable creative channel coming forward. Have to admit to being mildly underwhelmed by new man Mane...bit lacking in physical presence and went to ground too easily. That said in the right areas you can see he will be a threat and he obviously drew the key penalty. Koeman nearly left his substitution too late and Shane was definitely the right man at the right time. Very, very early days so i almost feel guilty passing judgement... Shrewsbury at home in the next round please....

got through on the 01271 number and have my 3 tickets.. it rang for about 20 minutes and eventually someone picked up.. keep the faith!

to be fair to the geordies they are making good of Nile Ranger who hung around in our academy for a fair bit (admittedly causing a bit of trouble) and probably fancy their chances at having a go with another saints youngster. Nile scored 22 goals for their reserves last season and scored for england under 19s last night against Bosnia..

I kept my membership for the first three years we were in the championship and ultimately never needed to use it bar away games. Recently even that hasn't been a so i let it lapse at the end of last season. The fact i was able to buy tickets on general sale for matches like charlton two days ago highlighted why membership was completley uneccessary. Clearly i am kicking myself now, but i know the rules and expect to be at the bottom of the pile when it comes to ticket sales and have no complaints. I still expect a good chance of getting one as i think we will be on tv.

anyone remember when that cross-bar incident was?! sure it was a game played at loftus road when they were redeveloping Craven Cottage.. did it finish 2-2??? thanks
