  1. A few obscure ones as a 35 yo Saints fan who spent 2001-2015 growing up in Northamptonshire and from 2015 until now living in Suffolk, I don't make many games, since I moved away from Stubbington in 2001. The JPT Final at Wembley was a fantastic day out. My Uncle is a Carlisle fan, so it was a great to have a family day out with the old man, Aunty and Uncle at Wembley. Knowing that ultimately Carlisle and Saints paths wouldn't cross that frequently again. To have the fixture played at Wembley was personally very special. It felt like it was the beginning of the come back after years of off the field problems. Light at the end of the tunnel! The Adkin's years. I went to his first game in charge at MK Dons in League 1 , I think we lost 2-0 . To then see that side grow and develop to go on and win back to back promotions was a very enjoyable ride. With many players who played in that MK Dons game going on to make up the core of a successful Premier League Saints side.....Lambert, Puncheon, Fonte, Davies and Schneiderlin. Back when players were fully invested in taking the club "back to where it belonged" Peterborough April 2012. 3-1 win to take us near to clinching promotion to the Premier League. Billy Sharp scoring twice. Tuesday night under the lights, in a packed out old school terrace! The atmosphere was pretty special. I watched Rushden and Diamonds growing up in Northamptonshire, the club Billy Sharp made his professional debut for so that was also a nice touch to see him playing and scoring in a Saints shirt. Shane Longs goal in the League Cup Semi final- and going into work rubbing it in all the plastic Suffolk Scousers faces! (Still feel we were robbed in the final) And finally more recently, I managed to get some tickets for Ipswich "away" back in February. My God both teams were utter shite on the day, but when Tall Paul popped up and scored the winner, knowing I could go and give all my Ipswich supporting friends at my local cricket and hockey club some stick was rather enjoyable. Especially after they'd given it stacks when that little ratty twat Sarmiento popped up and scored in the last minute the season prior! I do feel rather sheepish having been to one of our only 2 wins this season, as there are fans that go home and away each week, and I pop up for one of my rare Saints games and we go and win. Hoping to take my 6yo daughter to her first football game next season. I'm a strong believer in following/supporting the team from where you grow up, but in this instance I'll be making an exception and despite being born in Ipswich, she'll be encouraged to embark on the up and down journey that it is to follow the Saints! Bring on the Championship (again ole ole) next season!
