Our strikers look short of something...osvaldo looks a bit short of the pace/physicality of the EPL.... But obviously a class striker....I'm sure he'll come good and we'll get even better...

I took my 9 yr old daughter for the first time today... She absolutely loved it...spent the evening telling her mum all about it... Poor bloke next to me had a 2/3 year old who didn't make it past the first goal (6 min)....... Which am I Deano6?

not so interested in whether Adam rates MP... but really good to see, the correct things being done in pre-season... building team spirit, getting fit etc... rather than playing some Asian tournament, a long way away on a dodgy pitch... cynical journalists would be the first to point out if the team spirit was being staged...and it looks genuine... fairly play to both NC and MP.... let's hope we reap the benefits...

Do we normally release the training kit earlier than this, or are they scared it might outsell the home kit...the West Quay shop is wall to wall home kit...but empty when I walk past most lunchtimes...

I just think it shows such a lack of class...and shows we're a bit part team.. trying to copy other people.. rather than creating our own history.. if we get rid of stripes.. then at a push I don't mind... but at least come up with something with some style (it can't be that hard... as there are quite a few decent examples on this thread)... rather than just buying a kit from a car boot sale...... ... but we do need to get this in context... there might be a few s******s from opposing fans... but we could have appointed Joe Kinnear as Director of Football...

A bit harsh on Jos in my view....he hasn't been great... But to put him in the team based on own goals... Isn't avert valid stat, compared to all the defenders who got out the way... And didn't bother trying to block anything...
