Hart on form (like last night) is better than Forster. In the summer it was the other way around Walker loses position too easily but still better than than our right backs Fonte better than Cahill right now... but Stones would walk into our team.. Not huge amounts between Rose/Bertrand (evidenced by this weeks selections).. I'd take Redmond over Walcott based upon performances this season Lingard was poor last night, and is a bit hit and miss like Tadic.. but I'd probably take Lingard if they were both on form Dier was dire last night.. but on form anyone would take over OR Henderson is awful...and I feel sick thinking of him in a Saints shirt Ali would walk into most premiership sides... Sturridge was awful, selfish and his normal self.. and as much as I dislike him... he'd get picked in front of Charlie or Shane.. Just shows what team dynamics can do ....

Need to get our season going.. 1st team please.. Get back to winning ways.. It's still very easily in season, no need for squad rotation/tiredness yet... We can do that later on, when we've already got though to the knockout stages

Eye gouging has a minimum 12 week ban in rugby... A game where it's fair game pretty much to punch each other... If it's 3 games for a small punch in football... Chatting to Sir Alex F at lunch yesterday... and he had some interesting views about youth players coming through... how much scouting versus coaching made a difference... and 'managers' giving youngsters opportunity ... mostly chatted around LVG and the youngsters he's been 'forced' to start... He said it took him 4 years to get youngsters to have an impact in the first team... and was roughly a 4 years cycle... i.e. if kids aren't making it into the first team... you need to look back at what was happening 4 years before....

My daughter can't make Saturday games... so when it was re-arranged to Monday.. I took the day off and bought tickets for both of us.... now she's in tears... I know it's not the clubs fault... but it's bloomin' frustrating....

We shouldn't underestimate the effect Mane's pace has on defenders even when his confidence is low and he can't hit a barn door... Don't understand why Saints fans are so quick to rubbish him... Man of the match for me... The saints fans... I was 'lucky' enough to be in a box in the Alex Ferguson stand... But not allowed to celebrate given surrounded by Man U fans. OT was so quiet... I know OT was pretty quiet, but could constantly hear the Saints fans....Charlie Austin's goal was almost surpassed (it wasn't)... By being able to hear the 'Who the F*** are man Utd' all the way round the ground!

Never been to OT for a game before... But I'm going for this one... Looking forward to seeing 3 wins on the trot .... Is Charlie Austin likely to be fit enough for a subs debut?

UA are trying hard to break into footie... And are well capitalised... So makes a lot of sense that they would pay more than Nike/Adidas to get another foot in PL door... So fair play if this is true... I'd quite like a return to the Admiral style kit...just so that it's something different...

Heaven forbid that anyone on here would take a cynical view... But any chance the club/RK are making more of the 'late' incident than was needed to turn the fans against Mane, so that when they sell him... They get less grief... A few weeks ago.. It was he's not going anywhere for £100 million... Now everyone thinks he's a lazy arrogant pain in the a*se and we may as well take £30 million for him... All seems a bit contrived to me..

...only problem with Townsend is we're just getting like every other mid-table team trying short term... Rather than long term development which was what got us here...personally I'd accept a lower league position (as long as we don't get relegated).. And we bought some hope for the future.. Personally think Bamford is a good shout... And see Odegaard needs a club that knows how to develop youngsters

well if I read Guan's comments on the number of Schlongs or half a cake haul (see ITK snippets)... the total was just over £20m (unless he meant that for each player)... so after Clasie... we should still have a fair amount for a decent CB signing...

if we buy Shelvey... the club will be in meltdown...

Presumably there's an FFP angle here... termination of contract... can be written off in this year... rather than an ongoing wage going forward... so even if they've paid it up... it get's recorded a different way?

I'm an 'avid church goer'... and have known avout Big Vic's faith for a fair while...but I have no problem with Redslo's original comments.. let's not get to serious about this... P.S. Pretty sure Victor would describe himself as having a faith rather than being religious but lets' not start another debate.. as Far as I'm concerned he's a Saint... and that's why I'll be supporting him... (and nice to know he does stuff for charity as weel)

in fairness..we've been playing one system which has been working... now against a decent team...we play a different system and a couple of key people out of position... Woy is mad...
