According to Nicola (at fans dinner club) he promised his family they would return home after 5 years, so perhaps everything has gone to plan and this is just the final stages of maximising the profit before selling the club. The so called fallout with NC/KL could be the perfect way for Nic to save face on the pipe dream he sold everyone? Just another thought .......
