I like the sash design, not worried at all by moving away from vertical stripes for a season. I have the old Rank Xerox 100 year centenary shirt which wasn't a special design but had the badge changed slightly.....strangley that wasn't stripes either so this long history of stripes goes back a wapping 25 years. If the badge was to be re-designed as well as the shirt i think it would need to be very similar, else in years to come on TV replays etc. we wouldn't be identifiable as saints at all. IMO

Who is to say that given time Seaborne won't be better (he certainly will be next year when Perry and Jaidi can hardly run through old age), that is the idea of getting a team to gel, they will get better the more they play together. Otsemobor, if it works great but give it a little time, AP obviously thinks James is a better midfielder than a defender and would prefer to use him there. This I believe is a team being built for the coming seasons not just this one, so give it some time. I now i'd love us to go up as champions next season and hopefully winning all our home games rather than scrape through the play offs and not be ready for the CCC next season!

Prove it playing for Saints will do - so far for me he hasn't. Does that make me wrong, as you don't agree? Personally I think he pretty much lost us the Brizzel Rovers game single handed due to not having a f'in clue where he was supposed to be positionally, I know he wasn't playing LB but clueless sprang to mind. Sorry, I disagree that Mills can be an effective replacement for Harding! I said I agree with Lambert being the most important, purely for his goals and hold up play but we still have Conolly up front if he is injured which will still give us a potent striker, we would just need to change our tactics to suit.

I also think Schneiderlin gives us alot in midfield, he has more creativity than Hammond but Hammond does the simple stuff very well hence we are a better side with the pair.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Harding, agreed on Lambert, but if Harding is injured we have a gapping hole at LB

Cheers for that, not a bad little show. He certainly has a warm spot for Saints does Mr Tisdale. If he carries on the way he is, I wouldn't be opposed to him being SFC manager one day.

I had to pick up a new suit from Gun Wharf one Saturday morning before a Saints game, I decided to save time and wear my Saints shirt. Whilst at the check, the not so lovely sales assistant informed my I was brave for wearing my shirt, I asked if she was going to give me a kicking.....her response was that she wouldn't but someone else should!!! I smiled and told her I could smell fish!!

Great result, sounded like a solid performance with Morgan having a good game. I do wish the fans wouldn't sing so loud, could hardly hear the commentary .....great support. Welll done all
