It's possible. Anything is possible with SR. Maybe not appointing Sammy Saint but other than that. I just want a manager who seems to know you need players that score more goals than they let in. And then show them how to it.
Every time I see an in-play photo of JB and THB they are rarely marking anyone and often just watching the scorer place it in the net. We're pretty poor all over the pitch but defensively were just embarrassingly bad.
It was the same against Brentford. Yes they've got some decent players but we made them look like world beaters. I've stopped guessing what might happen in the summer but I'm not exactly brimming with optimism.
Wash, rinse, repeat. They create 10 gilt edged chances but only take 5. We do almost nothing of consequence except for a late strike when there's only three minutes left and Palace are half asleep. Long way of saying 5-1 to them.
I reckon he knows he's out the door at the end of the season. That decision about Stephens had all the hallmarks of "I'm just going to take the piss now whilst earning very nicely doing it thanks"
Only way we're getting points is if the opposition go down to nine and the ref gives us two penalties at 0-0 in the 90th and 91st minutes. That way, we'd probably keep it down to 2-2.
It seems we've been poor at scoring from corners for a few years. Quality of delivery? Surely it's not that hard to work out a few moves to improve us.
