  1. Did you get sorted? I will be driving up, but not sure when yet, as may have to be in London earlier in the day; what is the latest time you could leave and from where?
  2. given the 3 teams that went up are all doing OK in the CCC and the 3 that replaced them not so good, and the 3 that came up mixed, on balance yes - the irony is of course we beat leeds at home, Norwich 2 or 3 times, Millwall? But with changing squads, another years experience etc you can never do a true like For Like (LFL) in footie.
  3. WOW what a way to end the season, last away game HUGE following! Get In!
  4. That Orient game is looking more tasty every game now!!
  5. Got mine at 10 am today; T/O said then Plymoth would be postponed.

    Brian Howard

    Done deal according to Wikipedia!!!
  7. 2,000 + at Charlton; Plymouth similar; Orient 4,000 easy! Rochdale could be testing! After Sheff Weds 4/5 are away, with MK Dons at home. Those 5 will detrmine our fate. Back the boys all the way!
  8. Solent just said it might be off ffs!
  9. Mine is GK 58 SFC (Initials and DOB) wifes is L60 SFC; clearly neither of us are Saints players!! Always good to see other SFC plates when driving around town and before/after matches.
  10. Eddie, I live in Romsey and am going, if a space becomes free before saturday 19th home game when I intend to buy ticket plus travel club seat then please let me know! Thanks, Graham (Fanimal)
  11. Shall all us sad sods w/o a ticket meet in the Wetherspoons in Xchurch Rd before the game?
  12. OK Nigel McMenemy, sorry, Deppo; you are the gaffer, so how about a team of the 11 best/correct entries plus a bench of 7 for the game v Yeovilton at St Dellys tonight??
  13. Davedick Strongchap - The best bald headed goalscoring midfielder.
  14. All this has confirmed the point of my original thread, in that Bournemouth have really screwed up the ticket arrangements for this game, and in doing so, compounded their small club mentality. We could have sold 3x our allocation easily, and they could have accomodated 3,360 saints fans by giving us the normal full allocation and the temporary stand end, which by the way was virtually empty on saturday v Oldham. (Attendance 7,075 out of 12,060 capacity). Instead, there will be hundreds of Saints fans (its so close, try the off chance, go down for a few pints, enjoy the crack) seeing if they can get a ticket from the people at that end who are real JCLs; there will be segregation issues, and no doubt fun and games outside before, if not after. Reap what you sow.
  15. Lee B looks suspiciously offside for Deanos goal, right in front of the keeper; maybe the right back is level with him?
  16. I would start with N'Guessan and keep Alex on the bench, tokeep him as fresh as possible for Saturday where he will have more space I reckon. Bournemouth will be caught in 2 minds as to how they play against us IMO - sit back/counter or play openly and risk being played off the park?
  17. Walsall's victory against us as a freak result and try to understand what this really means about the situation at SFC I am a very PT, and if 9/10 on that performancewe would beat Walsall then yes its a freak result. Freak being the operative word here, as I cannot for one moment see any connection between tuesday evening and 'the situation at SFC' whatever that may be!!?? Freak. Please enlighten us what exactly that 'situation' is. Basically we are 5th with 15 games left to play, simple.
  18. Fair point when you think of the players we had in the team last time we got promoted.
  19. What a horrible few days, Saints lose, England lose and that lot down the road keep winning - I am glad someone else feels sick like me!!
  20. Another club heading for administration and -10 points perhaps?
  21. Need to watch the long throw ins as you can se on the highlights of the Plymouth game.
  22. i BET sWANNY IS REGRETTING THAT MISFIELD AT THE END OF THEIR INNINGS!
  23. The good news is for february we played 5, unbeaten, 11/15 points, whilst not playing anywhere near our best! The bus is moving up through the gears, but not yet in 5th... March, 7 games, 5 away, big big month!
  24. Always remember his headed winner at the Villa, thumper! RIP Deano!
