  1. Rather have the 3 points a week earlier….
  2. Should have let Guido take the penalty after Gabbi missed that earlier gift, just to get him off the mark. Wigan tired second half as I thought they would rather than us markedly changed.
  3. We've got Mark Hughes, Sparky Mark Hughes, I just don't think you understand, were going down, he's just another clown, we've got Sparky Mark Hughes!
  4. Surely now we will play 4 2 4 in a winner takes all game, with pace passion teamwork and enthusiasm backed by a howling vociferous red army? I can see the goals flooding in at the DW in a frenzied good old fashioned blood and thunder cup tie.
  5. We will get beat regardless, as we are spineless. everything is ess. Useless. We will be scared of the Spam fans. God knows why I am going to Wigan next week.
  6. Just bought our 4 in N6 about half left in that block
  7. My God I forgot he worked at Liverpool!! That explains everything!!!!!!!!
  8. Need Manure to win tonight please but bet they don't
  9. Have you all forgotten that we have the Indian sign over newcastle, if there is any luck going we will get it in bucket loads next week! This will make up for yesterday.
  10. I imagine with it blowing in from the East the Kingsland stand will be covered in snow, that will be the issue for the Club, clearing that away. I know, get the players on it! They can all drive down in their nice 4x4 motors and then breathe hot air all over it no problem...
  11. When you put it like that, cynicism aside, it really does start to grate; behind the Northam is cold and sterile, which sums up the club and our football right now.
  12. Always has to be away games up north, The Bradford QF was a cold day with a bitter wind; Leeds away LCSF was snowy but warmed up by the game and their fans,,,, Sheff Utd away in 1979/80 was freezing only just allowed to play, really raw always made worse by the chill of a bundle or a home goal...
  13. OS says coach £28 leaving bright and early!! Looking forward to a good day out COYRS
  14. When we beat Sunderland at home 8-0 what was the formation that day, bearing in mind we had Tadic and two holding midfielders if I am not mistaken? 442 or a very fluid 4231? Whatever it was replicate it and then pray for a ridiculous own goal….!
  15. Can we not just find another Beattie Rodriguez or Lambert from the lower leagues instead??
  16. This could well be the ugliest game we have seen in the last two seasons...
  17. ITs so big purely because its one of the few remaining games we have a chance to win ands its a six pointer. Win or bust come on only 1 defeat in 9 games we are on a roll, out of the bottom three, the only way is up baby
  18. That Grimsby game was a joke, Leicester supposed to be a neutral venue (just google respective distances), in the old Filbert St ground. Awful weather, but in the end we won easy despite all the inflatable fish at the other end. They got upset about that and we had them and a few local idiots trying to get to us as the exits were all open well before the end of the game! Those were the days….
  19. Putting aside the quality of opposition (and the Liverpool game) we have definitely improved since Boxing Day in a few subtle ways, more by luck than judgement I daresay, and we have started to fight a bit more and last for 95 minutes, which augers well for the next 2 months
  20. He probably needed a wee poo or massage
  21. Well in that case yesterday was a good warm up/indicator for next week and how to counter attack with speed like the second goal. This is a winnable game one of our best chances so MOPe better call it right, injuries permitting.
  22. Well I was at the game and we battled hard against a physical team playing at home for the last hope of their season; McCarthy MOTM for two superb saves could not do anything about their goal. Most played OK except Gabbi, criticism of Guido very unfair indeed, very tough ask for him. He is not Lukaku.
  23. Got better as the game went on, and had no protection from a poor referee today; had cedrics cross been better he was in a great position. Gives it all, some good blocking tackles; as above reminds me of JB in early days.
  24. Play the strongest team and be rewarded with a win and a home tie against the weakest remaining side in the draw, and hey presto, a semi final at Wembley and a reason for the whole club to feel better. Play a weak team, lose, regret it, two week lay off in readiness for a winnable away game and not up to speed. This is a defining game of the season in my eyes.
  25. If you go on the coach can you park at the Stadium, if so how much?
