Trying to fill empty seats left vacant by season ticket holders who just can't face anymore? -
I was in the upper tier towards the front and didn't notice any, not surprised if a few cashed in selling on , maybe it was more noticeable at the farewell ceremony?
-
Quality that, but hang on, did they sack legend Ivan Juric and improve with his replacement? How could that be possible?
-
It was a great occasion to be part of, spent quite a bit of time outside the ground pre-match taking it all in , was disappointed Everton didn't all come on the pitch at the end, was all a bit flat, didn't stay for the farewell ceremony instead those of us that left had to battle with the local constabulary to be let out, they were virtually letting one at a time go to stop Everton fans sneaking in. Thinking about it wish our 3k fans all stayed and sung Matty , Matty Fernandes non-stop throughout their ceremony just for a laugh
-
You can't tell me this isn't comedy of the highest level , and yes if he gets them promoted I guarantee he'll win at St Mary’s
-
I think so, fixtures are released in June, if we have Orient away end of season it would be reasonable to assume promotion is assured
-
No he's probably the perfect age as long as he's tall enough to see over people stood in front
-
It's a funny email, i'd have liked them to add an asterisk in the small print *however if a last min winner is scored by the Loch Ness Drogba with a Van Basten style volley please feel free to hop over the boardings and celebrate briefly on the pitch
-
Sounds about right, just beaten Man Utd? It was good natured but got a bit too rowdy for the club I think
-
Not quite, there was a lot of pent up anger that day, we were relegated or about to be relegated to league one, administration, club in turmoil, I remember a bloke appearing in the away end in a Skates shirt, it all boiled over really , Paul Wotton still on the ground injured i think , I remember the year before we invaded the pitch celebrating Championship survival against Sheff Utd that was much more good natured. Here's some highlights from the Burnley game

I need some help to decide who to vote for, needs to be a player with 15+ first team appearances, Fernandes? https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/voting-open-for-fans-player-of-the-season
-
Pleased to see Orient win on pens last night, ensures at least one more southern team will be promoted up to the Championship next season
-
Post on here at the time, someone will probably be happy to buy the friendly tickets from you and easy to transfer on the app , we might get a Premier league glamour club visit us like last time we prepares for the Championship against Bournemouth
-
How much credit do you have? Might not be possible but you use it towards another season ticket purchase for a friend who hasnt renewed yet, they then pay you so you get the cash ? Does seem crazy though for it to expire so soon, they want to write off the cost in accounts and not accrue for it. With ticket exchange open for Arsenal they should tell people don't renew yet if you're planning to sell ticket back for that
-
Let's hope so, can recreate the 1984 semi final on the pitch at the end
-
Reading some of the Everton forums brings back memories of leaving The Dell, I still haven't got over it
-
Clever move by the club to stop the fans ripping out the seats and helping themselves to souvenirs
-
I was thinking the same thing, remember West Ham away last game in 1993/94 season , last game for their terrace all on the pitch before final whistle
-
There's boarded up terrace houses around there. Land value must be low but will probably get a government regeneration fund and pay Everton over market value for it, Liverpool council already showed their corruption with the new ground
-
Yeah if Sheff Utd join Burnley going up and Luton having gone down will that just leave us, Leicester and Ipswich in receipt of parachute payments in next seasons championship?
-
Hopefully Draper Tools or Dimplex?
-
To be fair our recruitment has been like the blind leading the blind
-
Yeah the timing is important, do Sheff Utd and Burnley get the share of unused parachutes or do we? I guess when we went back up last year we'd have benefitted if it's other way round
-
They mentioned if Sheff Utd go back up with Burnley their remaining parachute payments get redistributed amongst Premier League clubs, would we benefit from that?
