I agree there are some good players there and we should be able to give several teams in this league a good game, but I still can't see where goals will come from so will still make us easy to beat. We need far too many chances per goal and won't get them.
Getting crazy with these numbers but can see demand dropping now we've had small allocations at Brentford and Bournemouth not such an incentive to up the numbers.
Anyone keen to do an away game come to Everton in the Cup will be plenty to go around.
Saints would prefer the 2nd week with blank weekend following but I think we'll be first week (17th or 18th)
Liverpool will need to be home week 2 as they play champions league in week 1 and they won't have Liverpool and Everton at home same week.
Does anyone still think we have a chance of staying up?
I look at our team, can't see where the goals will come from
Can certainly see how we'll concede.
Genuinely think we'll go with record low points.
Would love to give this a good go , last hope is these new signings make a difference and having fresh eyes like Ramsdale walking back into the dressing room after defeat and saying what the fuck was that stupid passing giving away goals all about? Martin might start to listen.
There's something about Brentford away that brings out the worst in our managers, seem to remember the fans turning on both Nathan Jones and Hassenhuttl in 3-0 defeats there.
Frustrating growing towards Martin today amongst the fans, he really needs to get a positive result to get the fans believing again.
Agree, stubbornly sticking to playing a way that we're not very good at. Can see opposition managers rubbing their hands, let us have the ball, wait for a mistake , score in the knowledge that we've got virtually no goal threat to respond with.
