I said back in the transfer thread that £9M just didn’t seem right for Dobbin, advocated early in the window our target should have been Lankshear who impressed me last season with his strength and movement, he wouldn't have cost that much more

We are missing him and didnt really get that much cash when you deduct the Dobbin rebate, shame all round he's probably sat at home playing xbox

That was a huge % of our transfer budget on Dobbin, not ideal when he doesn't look like he'll contribute much Larin and Sceinza off on 60 mins as we're panicking on whether they can play two more tough games this coming week

Dont be a mug, we spied on Oxford and lost. Clearly 2nd half of last season we had a better team, THB at the back with Jander in the middle and a fit Stewart up front. All those players would significantly improve that team today

He clearly isn't the Stewart replacement, he's the Damion Downs one and did a good impression of him We're completely fucked if Larin can't play

Have you managed to get one now? Ticket sales have been really slow, I think people fed up with midday Sunday / stupid prices and perhaps just arent that bothered by the rivalry. Seems to be a genuine injury to be fair, but agree its odd as he keeps being close then having set backs. No proper pre season for him, going to take some time, we play Wrexham on 19th Sept then no more games until 11th Oct vs Pompey so that has to be the aim now realistically

Probably turn out some of the "add ons" to his transfer fee included champions league appearances

Seeming increasingly likely Jander wont really feature before the international break , shame to be missing so many games really could do with him
