Lets just put that down as TBC for now
-
Im not sure it was premeditated, how do you know Will Salt wasn't just out for a walk and stumbled across a group of guys have a kickabout and decided to capture the moment on his mobile telephone?
-
Wouldn't go that far, but Russell Martin should keep an eye on that job in a year or so

September/ October International break
Football Special replied to Football Special's topic in The Saints
It is merging September and October International breaks that we've had for ages, last year example below -
AI is shit Wouldnt put it past the FA to ask Co-Pilot to work it all out for them though
-
Its going to really drag this one. Wrexham away on 19th September then no other games until Pompey at home 11th October FIFA decided to scrap the individual September / October breaks and merge them into one with international teams playing up to 4 matches across the break. Squads expected to be announced later this week. Saints will lose some key players with Peretz (Israel) Manning (Ireland) Azaz (Ireland) Larin (Canada) Mubama (England u21s) Think all the others will probably get a few days off in the first week to recharge their batteries.

Ah FFS you are correct, well no trains from Southampton Central anyway , why do these things always seem to conspire to make what should be a good trip hard work. Its annoying Northern sides get local games with massive allocations at Blackburn, Preston whereas our local trips tend to be smaller allocations like 1800 at QPR and Millwall also reduced now. We get just over 3000 at Charlton great away day for a few beers 🍻, thats on boxing day with no trains and West Ham also usually gives 3k I think also a faff with bus replacements

Lots of camera shots of him looking shell shocked during 2nd half (same with members of the crowd) , horrible afternoon being outclassed at home by Brighton for them , no goals scored in any of their 4 games , early days but could be a long old season for Cov

I'd genuinely like to see them do well, any success for the club / city always welcome Have taken my kids a few times, good for young football mad girls to see them. Enjoyed thrashing Pompey last season, good crowds in for that but otherwise attendances are low Think they'll struggle to get promoted any higher without investment so mid table 2nd tier probably best they can aim for
-
Sorry! Actually stayed in city centre Premier Inn last time , was perfect for price / location but didnt really research so could well be better options.
-
Got to expect a reaction from Wrexham, they'll be desperate to bounce back from the embarrassing scoreline at West Ham First goal important , keep it tight I always fear Keiffer Moore , sort of player we struggle against. Had an absolutely brilliant trip to Wrexham last year, fingers crossed same again

So if Leeds recorded on old fashioned notepad thats ok but phone makes it worse? Don't think we broke into premises rather watching from the outside so limits the intrusion, there is plenty of mitigation to argue relevant precedent , fact is EFL introduced rule that doesn't actually apply to other FA Competitions so that could be relevant in context.

Agreed. Thanks for the update Lord Pannick

"Prohibited tech and intrusion" lol it was an iPhone behind a tree trunk outside of the training ground . I'd hope our legal team will draw comparisons with similar previous case that FA deemed insufficient for punishment
-
And the Bielsa precedent obviously as well
