The following round (quarter final) is on 4th April, Easter weekend. The Premier league has no fixtures scheduled for that weekend, left free to allow their teams to focus on the cup game. On the other hand we have two fixtures scheduled that weekend v Ipswich and Wrexham, the club won't want the backlog rearranging those with full focus being on getting into the play offs. I agree *if* we do it will go down to the last game , could be a good excuse to combine a bank holiday weekend in Blackpool with Preston away , big ticket allocation etc

Agree with that, I think Tonda was trying to be too clever again trying to coast through the game with low intensity and you could see players deliberately slowing it down and playing in first gear

Considering the run of form we've just had its a shame to still be 4 points adrift of the play offs, fair play to Wrexham, Hull and Millwall they have stepped up and kept going. I've still got a feeling Ipswich will get 2nd
