  1. The pre match coverage Saints say need to "manage" Fellows after his groin injury, early planning on having him on the bench and hoping to have him at Birmingham. I can't see us winning, a draw probably
  2. I remember being right down the front and it bloody pouring with rain , we always seem to take good support there
  3. The biggest concern of global warming for me is the lack of orange ball action we get to see in the modern era , always felt special when that came out
  4. All good ones. Yes beat Spurs but I think was New Years day then beat them again in fa cup few days later 2003? Beating Arsenal 4-0 Cucu Martina was brilliant 2015. Loved the Chelsea 3-1 Frankie Bennett, I need to check this but think we then played Man City away THE NEXT DAY and the buzz of the 3-1 win inspired us to travel up to Manchester next day for a Northern away game, pay on the gate, those really were the days
  5. Great find that mate. Love that era, absolutely zero glamour, Archers Road pens, oh Terry Hurlock, Iain Dowie football genius and no nonsense headbutts That all said, if we lose Friday I blame Ruddock
  6. I was just joking I doubt he'd remember a Saints player headbutting him 34 years ago and still want revenge
  7. He looks like Messi when dribbling with the ball
  8. I'm sure I remember him from Notts County, possibly a Neil Ruddock headbutt in 1990/91 season? He'll have a grudge against us
  9. Caretaker manager in for boxing day then, who knows what difference that will make , Craig Short rings a bell, played against us in the 90s?
  10. We haven't won away to Oxford for 50 years, not a good omen , I fancy this one to be 1-1 , Paul Moody to score for them
  11. Club hoping to get a record crowd in for the South Coast Derby vs Pompey on 10th Jan, but for some reason have moved it to be on same day as Doncaster away which immediately rules out some fans who will be at that https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/keep-hampshire-red-against-portsmouth-women-in-january
  12. Just watched the football league highlights show, Doncaster lost 5-1 at home to Plymouth yesterday and drop to 23rd in League One, definitely a kind draw for us
  13. Will be nice to see another name on the league trophy, hope they do it. I've always quite liked Heart of Midlothian FC.
  14. Scienza really should have scored first half
