  1. Norwich away in Carabao Cup was as good as it got
  2. That's my fear for tonight, Ipswich bringing full 3,008 away allocation, last thing i want is a defeat where we have to stand there listening to their celebrations. Would expect a bit of a hangover from Saturday though, no more songs about going to Wembley. This will be Ipswich's 3rd away game in 7 days having been to Charlton last Wednesday, West Brom on Saturday and Saints tonight so should match our fatigue, no idea if they have been rotating the squad much
  3. It was our 3rd Wembley FA Cup semi final in 9 seasons , plus we'd had 2017 league cup final and recent play off final, we didn't need our Sat Navs to find Wembley, well trodden path
  4. That's the odd thing isn't it, feels odd giving a season award to someone only here for half of it. Is Adam Armstrong still our top scorer?
  5. Young player of the year? Or is he too old for that?
  6. Usually presented before the last home game of the season, will that be tomorrow night vs Ipswich?
  7. Could this suggest Preston will be yellow?
  8. Few more seats released in case anyone is after a ticket https://tickets.southamptonfc.com/selection/event/seat?perfId=10228791353324&choiceSelectionDone=true&productId=10228791371395
  9. Surely no lap of honour at the end though with the play offs still to come we'll have another home game
  10. Unfortunately not was relying on the 2024 Leeds game for that particular moment
  11. i don't think Saints have even spent a minute in the top 2 all season have we?, would be hilarious if we got a late goal at Preston to get into it , not going to happen though. Anyone know the odds on Saints to beat Ipswich and Preston and also Ipswich / Millwall failing to beat QPR / Oxford? Must be 100/1 surely
  12. I remember 2012 when all Man City had to do was win at home to QPR to win the league, very nearly didn't until Aguero popped up in stoppage time, but yes that scenario of a comfortable Ipswich win is overwhelming favourite if they need it (I.e dont beat us already)
  13. Games like this, beating Arsenal and our play off final win have been brilliant for instilling a sense of pride in supporting Saints for the next generation of youngsters growing up, they're bombarded with brainwashing about the "big 6" whether its from glory hunters at school, football youtubers, sky TV, playing FIFA on the Xbox etc, walking down the steps seeing a sea of 36,000 proud Saints fans , wonderful sight . We had three generations of family with us on Saturday some of which were at Wembley in 76 , nice moment to have.
  14. That's what I meant 6th place being the last play off place. Got a feeling Derby will get it.
  15. No i think even if we beat Ipswich they are still likely to beat Millwall to 2nd place, they would just need to win at home to QPR
