  1. Yes, I am extra sorry about that being from Denmark myself He probably has a huge salary being some kind of CEO (participating in bad decisions so far) at SFC Saints AND chairman in Gotzepe in Turkey 😠
  2. Very true. I wonder if RM has considered the fuzz TP can potentially make in any opponents penalty area at corners and other attacking set pieces.
  3. Couldn't agree more. I hope he and RM can shake hands and try to focus on working together if we don't get a fee north of 12-13 million pounds for him
  4. I totally agree. And he looked pretty decent for a player who got his first 15 minutes of pre season match football today.
  5. I agree. Good to see him on the pitch today. KWP too 👆 . To be fair he didn't look bad in his first 15 minutes of pre- season match football. With his size he certainly may worry defenders at especially set pieces. Ambivalently, half of me hopes to keep him if we don't get the right offer.
  6. Sh*t! Brentford and that guy Thomas Frank seem amazing at pulling through what they want.... They'll probably succeed in selling Toney for a billion. Especially now that Bournemouth have set the standard by getting 65 million pounds for Solanke 🤔
  7. Well, having moved to Stoke doesn't make him a non ex Blackburn striker. He always will be an ex Blackburner (and ex Saints player) 😊 I actually hope he does well at Stoke, who could be an outsider for promotion imo , despite a lot of chaos apparently in recent years.
  8. I hope you are right about O'R wanting to come to play for us. If he really wants it , we might succeed in signing him 👍
  9. Sczmodics is very welcome in my view 👍
  10. PGG243, I welcome your optimism and the reasons behind. Very relieving and comforting. Team spirit, momentum and confidence to build on. No panic really needed at this point as the transfer window is still open and we tend to sign new players late. Add to that that, like Jamie Carragher has said, (not my favourite pundit, I admit that, but in full accordance with my own views): 'Why should Saints not perceive themselves as being back where they belong' - in the PL - whereas other teams, primarily Ipswich, can't say the same with real substance.. I'd like to take it even further and say that Saints have better elite division DNA than a few other clubs in the prem. Besides I think we have a very good manager even if he is unproven in the prem.
  11. He would be useful for us, I think. I hope we sign him. Good player. I hope we find a solution and bring him in. We need to get those last 3-5 signings over the line as soon as possible.
  12. Only that we seem to have pitch problems. I didn't know about it. Last time I was at St.Mary's I noticed nothing.
  13. Ffs
  14. Alcaraz felt he should have had several decisions for him, not against him, against a bunch of Italians who targeted him (perhaps due to his time with Juventus). Alcaraz lost his temper, and we should forgive him. He played well.
  15. Miovski rumour may have re-emerged.
  16. Yeah, N'Castle have been down in the championship. Last time under Rafael Benitez.
  17. Everything else equal - I'm sure they have to look for a new striker in stead of M'OR 👍
  18. Yes , I guess especially Rasmus A. has disappointed since his Brentford days. I hope he can come back and show some class. If he is involved in signings at all these days.
  19. I think Saints would never do the same if in the same financial league as Chelsea.
  20. Chelsea literally think they own peoples lives. Dunno how they get away with getting 7 year contracts pulled through and 50 players out on loan season after season
  21. I wouldn't be surprised if RM will be willing to adhust his philosophy even if he has indicated that he won't; now that he will manage at the top level.
  22. Yeah. Why not go further back than that and have a look at the 2003 FA cup squad? For a good right winger Fabrice Fernandes can't be much more than in his late 40s 😎
  23. I really like Antonio 👍 although a little worrying he's 34 and has had some injury issues. He fits RM football much better than Ings, had a good season with us on loan from Reading back in 2010. Decent goal scoring record, good at pressing, physically strong, keeping the ball well and has great throw ins. I welcome a re-union.
